Fay's POV~
Wow, the summer holidays are going to be so boring!
Although I'm not in school anymore (I am 25!)
I have made absolutely no plans and any chance of a family holiday is as slim as I wish I was. Sure, there's plenty to do in my area but what's the point if you're on your own?I sigh deeply and decide to visit my collie Troye in the local kennels. My parents decided it would be best for him to stay there while they finished their important work without any barking and boisterous interruptions. I chuck on a flowy white top and blue jeggings (I could never wear jeans with this massive ass and thick thighs) I tie up the laces of my favourite pair of white converse. Grabbing some treats from the kitchen, I jog out of the door, my long black ponytail swinging at my shoulders.
It's only a five minute jog to the kennels so, in an attempt to shift my stubborn weight, I ran, although all I ended up doing was crashing into someone in a sweaty, messy heap.
"Oh shit sorry!" I say, quickly getting up and flicking my hair out of my face.
"Wait! Ohmygod! Fay it's you, wow long time no see hey?"
"Olly! Ohmygod!" I wrap him into a big warm hug, remembering the thin, welcoming arms of my former best friend.
"What are you doing here then, eh?" I question, in total disbelief that I'd run into him again.
"I'm visiting my dog in the kennels, you honey?" I always blush when he calls me that, this time it sent tingles all down my body.
"I'm visiting Troye. In the kennels."
"I've always loved Troye! My little buddy." I smile, remembering all of our memories. He nodded in the directions of the kennels and in response, I linked arms with him and strolled through the gates and gave in details at the reception.
"Troye boy! Hiya!" I say running up to my beautiful mutt and giving his a scratch behind his ears.
*hour later*"You wanna head off now honey?" I smiled and nodded, the tingles and blushes returning heavier.
"I fancy the beach." I stated smiling innocently.
"The beach it is then sweetheart." He said it with those stunning eyes and that distinctive smirk. He knew what he was doing to me and he was loving every second of it.We linked arms again and sauntered off toward the beautiful, warm beach. Every niece in a while, he looked at me and smiled as we chatted away about whatever we'd done in the past 4 years I hadn't seen him. I felt so happy to be back in his company as we'd been so close in the past, talking til dawn or having sleepovers and movie nights, days at the park and friendly cuddles. Oh how I'd missed it.
That's a wrap for this chapter love you!
