Seconds. Minutes. Hours, wasted on fruitless searching. Night time is almost here. Where is she?
Seto knew what she looked like: seafoam green shading down to medium green long hair, goddess-like toga/dress, gold bracelets and belt and sandals, seafoam and fluorescent light green eyes (refer to the cover page for everything except the sandals).
Yes, Seto was looking for Kat.
He searched in the old village that got destroyed years ago, that was when he lost his wife. He knew she died, because the papers said no one survived the attack. But Seto was sure Kat didn't die, or if she got hurt, she could heal herself if she was close to water or ice.
He looked in a few forests, but had to cut short some of those because of the amount of mobs in them. Seto even found a family of wolves. There were three adults, and two pups, but one was injured.
He gained the adult wolves' trust by speaking to them in wolf tongue. They let him wrap the injured pup in gauze and gave some of the other wolves more. He then told them what to do with it and how to handle it.
He left after a few happy wolf licks to the face. He continued his search, and then he realized two things.
Man, I could've asked the wolves back there if they've seen anyone like Kat. That was his first thing. He continued walking for a few minutes on an overgrown path, thinking. A few bones were on the ground, but they were at least a couple of years old.
Wait... Didn't Allison... Say Kat lived with her? Am I getting my hopes up? Is she right? Well, I should find out.
He opened up his small backpack on his back and grabbed some paper out of it. "Show me the coordinates and a map to Allison's house, who is the daughter of Herobrine."
Magic ink started to spread out in the paper in spirals, ending in some paths but starting in others, eventually stopping all together. Now, he had a paper with the coordinates of Allison's house, a map of the surroundings, and an arrow that marked his location and which way he was facing. Well, whichever way the north compass point was pointing towards (what if your map is flipped?).
He smiled. Now, he had backup.
He just needed some convincing to do.
--------
Kat sighed. It's been days since she woke up one day and Allison was gone without telling. Well, she did say that she needed to go to the nether soon. Maybe that's where she went.
Kat climbed out of her bed, and walked into the hallway, down the stairs, and into the kitchen. She opened a cabinet that contained bowls and grabbed a ceramic bowl. Kat grabbed a cereal box and spoon and poured the corn flakes into her bowl, and put the spoon in last.
She closed the box and put it away. Walking to the table, she put the bowl of cereal on the table, and looked outside. Even Herobrine hasn't appeared under his tree yet.
Maybe she got captured by Herobrine? I hope not, this will be bad if she does. I'd be going on a death mission since there isn't any water in the nether if I needed to heal myself. And there's definitely not ice, either. I doubt sweat counts.
Kat finished her bowl in about ten minutes. She put the bowl and spoon in the sink so she could wash it later, and walked back to her room. Well, their room. Kat and Allison shared a room, since Allison didn't have any guest rooms and it was big enough for two twin size beds (basically two minecraft beds next to each other made up a twin bed).
Kat got some clothes out of her dresser and walked to the second bathroom, since the first one was Allison's. She put her clothes on the one sink white marble vanity, and grabbed some towels off a shelf. She put a small towel in the shower, to wash herself, another just in case she gets soap in her eyes, and a bigger one on top of her clothes to dry herself once she finished.
Kat stripped off her clothes, put them in a hamper, and turned on the water before stepping into the shower. The steam made her feel relaxed, as it always does. She sighed. "I hope Allison comes back soon," Kat said to herself.
She turned off the shower and stepped out onto a medium sized piece of carpet. She grabbed the large towel, and quickly dried herself off, before putting her clothes on.
She just walked out of her bathroom when she heard a knock at the door. Who was that?
---------Seto was only a few miles away now. After a half an hour of walking, he wasn't that far away now.
Maps make distance seem so small compared to what they really are, Seto thought to himself. At least he was almost there.
He hummed a few songs he knew, and before he knew it, in the distance there was Allison's house. It was a 2-story building made out of birch logs and planks, with nether brick fences on the patio as boundaries as well as the second floor patio above it. Two 1x3 window panes were in the same wall as the door. On the top of the house, there was an iron trapdoor for who knows what reasons (it's the same trapdoor Allison used to escape from Herobrine when she returned from the market. She used that same trapdoor to sneak up on him to knock him out with a board).
About ten minutes later, Seto was standing in front of the patio. On the patio there was a simple 2x2 table with four seats surrounding it. Nothing else was on the platform.
Seto sighed. I hope she lives here.
He went up the 1 stair and walked to the door. With a deep breath, he knocked.
A few minutes passed. Nothing. He knocked again. Nothing.
He turned to leave. He had just made it to the stair, before he heard a female voice.
"Yes?"
