They're dead

That was the long and short of it for many years when it came to the question of Harry potters parents they're dead nothing less nothing more.

It had been around 14 years since the potters had pasted and since then there only child, Harry , was left with his veil aunt, uncle and cousin they hated him because of his magical gift but still took him in.

Why you ask, would someone so against the idea of this child and his parents take him into their home well I believe it's because the evil couple wanted to try and straighten him out or maybe they just wanted someone to have as a slave so mrs dursleys could spend more time spying on the negibours and mr dursleys and his pig of a son could spend more time eating and laughing at five year olds falling over on the tv.

Now to say the dursleys hated that boy would not be the right way of putting it no they were more so terrified of him because of his magical abilitys that he had no idea of you see Harry thought his parents where killed in a car crash when he was little and that's how he go the scar. Thought of course you know the real story.

Because of his fear of the boy mr dursley forced him to do chores and beat him if not done well.

Whereas his cousin was treated like a prince (a/n I'm sorry but all I can think of while writing this is the tv show merlin except without the methur romance)

That was until years later when he was sent a hogwarts letter and was taken to the place of his dreams where he was no longer a unworthy rat but now a superstar
