Chapter Thirteen

Silverpaw and Bramblepaw at the entrance to Darkstars den. "Darkstar were here!" "Come in" Darkstar mewed Silverpaw walk along side Bramblepaw as they entered the cave. "Have a set." Darkstar meowed. As they sat down Silverpaw wondered why they were here. Does it have to do with Gray or does he not approve we left camp without telling anyone? "You two have some explaining to do. Silverpaw you are excused from this I know you went out for Sunkit." Does he know I went to Fourtrees to meet other cats? She thought to her self. "But Darkstar I went to the moonstone yesterday." Silverpaw put in hoping he thought she went to day. "I know but I also know that you might have been out last night trying to find herbs to help Sunkit. am I right?" "Umm... no, I was not out gathering herbs I don't even know what you use for bites." "Oh so then were where you and you to Bramblepaw were where you two last night?" "Well..." Bramblepaw answered, "We can't tell you..." "No, and whys that?" Darkstar challenged "Starclan told us not to tell." Silverpaw put in "Do you have proof minus you two. I mean you might back up what ever the other one will say." "Yes, we do." Bramblepaw meowed "Oh and what that." "Gray! Starclan chose him to be part of this too." "Very well, GOLDENFUR!" Silverpaw remembered that Goldenfur was standing at the entrance when they walked in. Silverpaw looked behind her and saw Goldenfur rushing up the entrance to the cave. "Yes, Darkstar what do you need?" "Can you please  go get Gray for me?" Goldenfur bowed his head and as fast as he came he left.  A moment latter Galdenfur came back in with Gray right behind him. "Gray I understand you were part of why Silverpaw and Bramblepaw were out last night." Darkstar meowed. "They said Starclan told you three not to tell any cat is this true?" "Yes, it's true" Gray answered calmly "So I see ok then you three may leave." "Umm Darkstar?" Silverpaw meowed. "How did you know we were out last night?" "I have cats who don't sleep till late." Darkstar meowed simply. The three apprentices left Darkstars den and went over to the fresh kill pile for some lunch.                                                                                                                                "Who do you think told Darkstar" Mewed Bramblepaw "I don't know, maybe it was that fluffy weight cat over there he is the only other apprentice right?" Gray meowed. "What if he saw you two sneak out." "You might have a point, Gray." Bramblepaw meowed "I mean it makes scenes if he rats other cats out no one besides his mentor has made friends with him." "True" Silverpaw agreed "But we need to look for more clues he might not be the cat who told Darkstar." Silverpaw picked up a thrush and headed for the peach tree with the others.The three cats sat down near the Peach tree to continue their conversation. "So how about we think about this latter and think how to stop the darkness." Mewed Silverpaw
