THE THING

                                CHAPTER ONE

Georgia's POV

I wake up to find myself on the cold floor of a dark and dusty room,I can hear a distant sound of the fierce wind battering against some window somewhere.

All I can seem to think about is how I got here and why?as I looked out of the window that didn't  have any glass on it and I just gazed at the full moon,no clouds in the sky only the navy blue night ,the moon and some stars then in my head came a lovely tune to one of my favourite songs it was from mamma mia (I have a dream.)but in the middle of the song it dawned on me that I was still here in this unfamiliar place and I hear a creak behind me then a tall cloaked beast or something towering over me as I just sat on the floor not knowing what emotion to show.

Then I thought this might not be real because the last thing I remember was me getting into my cosy bed in my not-so-cosy new house my family and I just moved into last week to California from Michigan. Anyway I am not actually scared of this "Georgia why are you not to scared" that is what my new friends Tiana , Hallie and Leah say after every scary film we watch like the time we watched the woman in black with ♥Daniel Radcliffe♥ I just love him especially in Harry Potter.

Then when we watched a film called silent hill I didn't even flinch at any of it it was funny because Tiana practically peedher pants when she saw something so disgusting she said that the creature she saw was in her nightmare.

Anyway this creature looked back at me from his stare at the full moon,he turned his hood at me , gliding rather fast towards me and it grabbed me by the neck and it felt like all the happiness had been banished from the world,this thing was like sucking my soul out and slowly I saw darkness and I felt very sleepy....

*LIGHTS OUT*

Suddenly awakening but still having my eyes closed I think to myself "I just had the weirdest dream", opening my eyes I jump up and search my surroundings, sighing, noticing that I am still in this mysterious building.

Finally I have the confidence to walk around here considering a creature under a black ripped cloaked just attacked me (sort of), I go over to the tightly shut door and turn the knob then I pull really hard with

no luck,I push really hard and I go tumbling out into what seems like a long hallway.

I aim to run to the end of the corridor as I ran I seemed to be passing rooms identical to the one I had been trapped in for-i don't know how long,just a rusty old bed , a side table and a hard stone cold floor,I stopped to look at one of the rooms that caught my eye through the front window I could faintly see something else than the other rooms didn't have. I also saw that it didn't have a circular door handle that you turn, it was one than push down to get in the room.

Before I went into this creepy room I saw a sign on the window sill under the dust filled window pane the sign  said..

'MR JOHN RENGAN'

*Flashback* 10 years ago

Me: Mommy why is DADDY acting crazy?

My Mom: because he has to much to drink

Me: so why is he trying to kiss the doggy hahaha

My Mom: I don't know STOP IT JOHN.

John: You want me to stop okay fine I will but first let me show you something Georgia I have flying powers!

Me: Really Daddy !?!?!

John: oh yeah watch this .

leading me out the door up to the top of our sky riser flats in Michigan and he did the most stupidest, saddest, and my worst nightmare still to this day.........

He JUMPED!

*Flashback over*
