My alarm starts to ring. Shutting it off i lay out clothes for Ella before i leave to shower. Going in i take a nice hot shower with in ten minutes i am out. Putting on my clothes for today.
Walking out i go and wake Ella up. Ella honey wake up. Mommy? Yeah you have to wake up we have to go to school now. 'But i'm tired still'. I know its been a long couple of weeks but after this weekend we can sleep in and relax. 'Ookay mommy'. That my girl now go change in the restroom and brush your teeth. Once you come out I can do your hair. She goes inside the bathroom and comes out a few minutes later. In the clothes I gave her.

How lovely you look now lets fix that mess of a hair of yours. With that I get to work doing a fish tale side braid on her right side og her. Their all ready. Here's your backpack go see if anyone is out their if they are ask politly. If they can get you a snack to add to your back pack. 'Okay mommy'. With that she slips out of our room to the living room. Making sure i put everything in my back pack i grab the keys and leave. Going out i see Ella crying and Andy standing their. I go up to them. What happened? 'Mommy i asked uncle Andy if i could take chocolate animal crackers. With me for a snack and he said no'. And why did you say no Andy. "Because their not much left if she take them she will finish them all". What is wrong with you shes a little kid Andy. I can go buy some more. "Fine she can have them". He hands me the rest of the box and walks away to his room. While your up their tell them to hurry up we are going to be late. "Sure". I pack the animal crackers for her and then set out two bowls. One for me and her i let her eat cereal. While we wait for them to come down. Fifteen minutes later we are all ready. Okay then lets all go. Ella grabs my hand as we all walk abd then ride the elevator down.  Asking anyone else if they wanted drive they all said no. I guess. With that i set off to Ella school. Once their i drop her off at the front. Goodbye sweety love you always. " And forever love you to mommy". Giving her a kiss on the head. Try not to get dirty Ella please. "Okay mommy". Once i know she's okay i go back to the car. And we head off to our school. Not really hungry since i ate at home with Ella. I just grab a water from starbucks while the rest get coffee and muffins. We walk into class right on time. Of course the guys still stuffing their faces. They go off and sit with some girls. While stacy and i sit next to each other in the middle. What's your essay about Stacey? "Oh i just did it on Cinderella". Really Stace. Yeah i was tired. I guess. With that our conversation ends. Alright lets get to work kids. With that we all hand in our essays and we start to read.

Lunch time
We just got of our last class and i am exhausted. Going to the lunch line we grab our food and go sit next to Paige. Hey Paige. She pokes her head out from her book. 'Oh hey'. What are you reading? 'Oh nothing just English literature book'.  Okay cool. Have they been nicer to you? 'Yeah just a bit now that, when he's with them he makes sure they don't pick on me'. Well that's good at least. 'Yes he's told me that he's glad I have some friends this year'. Of course. With that we all get to eating our food so glad for the amazing food I don't know if I have enough energy for dance class or gymnastic. 'If I can ask Rebecca something'? Sure? 'Yesterday you said don't swear on my daughters life, what did you mean'? Looking at my friends they all give a shrug of the shoulders. Hmm. Now that's a tough question. To put it shortly yes I have a daughter. 'I guess I can accept your answer'. Thank you for leaving it be. 'Sure were friends'. And you won't say anything about it will you. 'Of course not plus who will talk to me never the less believe me'. Alright thanks again. With that we all sit and finish our food. Hey Paige does the prince have any siblings? 'He has a half brother younger then him but other then that that's all I know but if you want I can ask around get more info'. Who you ask? My mom of course. She said all to excited. If realizing it she calms down. 'Wow that even sounded lame even to me'. Don't worry about it, any true intel is good intel we will glad to use it. 'Okay'. The bell rings an we have to leave. Thank you Paige you have my number if you need it. 'I know'. 'Bye'. Bye. We all leave for editque class. Why is everyone so quite? "All our parents called us today to ask for us to transfer money to their accounts. We love our family but we love the money to ourselves in our own account. Does that make us selfish"? I am sorry I forgot I am the only one that doesn't have family. No it doesn't make any of you selfish you guys want the money so you can use not for family. Sure the money great but you need to learn the balance between sharing and keeping. You all have family sure they need your money but you have family that love you cherish that. "Your right Rebecca we will send them some money as well as our love". See everything will work out and will all get through this year together. Okay they all mumbled together. We just reached for the elevator and go in pressing for our floor. We are in the class room in ten minutes. 'Welcome everyone back I hope your day was well yesterday'. All of us gives a nod of yes. Half way threw the class my phone rings I know its can't be Todd he doesn't call until later. Excuse me can I be excused I need to take this call. 'Sure but hurry back Ms. Rebecca'. Thank you. Answering I go out side the class room. Yes Hello. "Oh yes Hello this is the assisant headmistress of your daughter school. We need you to come down here as soon as possible". Of course can it wait fifteen minutes I am in class. "Sure just as soon as you can". Okay I will see you soon. "Goodbye". Goodbye. With a sign I go back in. I am terribly sorry Ms. Samantha but Ella's school called they want me down their now. 'It's alright I can understand but I don't think his royal highness will. Anyway just know you will get in trouble for not going to your extra activities'. I will deal with these consequences thank you. With that I grab all my things together and she tells me my assignment for homework now that I wont be here for the rest of the class. With a goodbye I am off to the elevator.  The life of a single parent. Taking a short cut i see Nate leaving campus to. Wonder where he is going. Focusing on finding my car i spot it and get in. I sit in the car for a bit, trying to calm all the thoughts racing threw my mind. Gathering all those thought i shove them to the back of my mind. And start the car. With in ten minutes i pull up to her school. Parking close i grab the spare bag of Ella things she might need anytime. Extra clothes, spare EpiPen, medicine her second favorite stuff toy. And more. I go straight to the main office. Walking up to the front desk. Yes i am Rebecca Martinez for Ella Martinez she's my daughter. She gives me a snobby glare and leads to the back. Opening a door i see Ella and Eddie sitting down on chairs. Her dress all a mess and her face have tear traces. Finally noticing someone come in she looks up and sees me. 'Mommy'! She gets up and runs to me. Kneeling down she runs straight into my arms. I feel her start to cry again. Oh its okay baby don't cry mommy's here. I start to hum a song so she can relax. Once i see she calm down i give her a kiss on the nose. Come on baby lets go mommy needs to find out who hurt you so i can hurt them. Whipping away they tears i get a better look at her. Her braid has sticks in it and mud. The white dress looks brown from all the mud. No wonders she's crying i told her not to get dirty. Picking her up i go towards Eddie. We go and sit down next to him. Hey Eddie. "Hey Becky". Can one of you tell me what happened? I look over at Eddie for answer until some else speaks. "They were on the play ground some other kid push Ella into the mud. Eddie here got mad and punched the kid. So now we are waiting for the head mistress. To finish with the other kid with his parents". Turing away from the kids i look and see its Nate. "Nate? Usually people call me Nathaniel  but nate is fine. And i guess you are her mother". Yes Rebecca nice to meet you. "Seems like my little brother has something for your daughter. He's usually a nice kid who wouldn't something like this". I am sorry if he gets in trouble because of Ella. "Don't worry about it the other kid disserved it. Pushing innocent little girls into the mud". You seem a lot more nicer then you look. "Well i would hope so love being the prince". Is their a washroom around here? "Yeah straight through that door". He points to a door to the left. Grabbing Ella and my bag we go inside. Come on baby I have extra clothes. I give her a new white dress and let her leave the shorts she had since they didn't get any mud on it.  She changes and I grab a napkin with water on it and clean the rest of the dirt off her body. Next I brush out the dirt as much as I can after that's done I just pull her hair in to a pony tail.  With everything alright we go out and see Nate and Eddie still their. Ella goes and sits down next to Eddie while I go and sit next to Nate. So Nate, Eddie your little brother? "Yeah. How old is Ella"? She's three. "An she's in Eddie grade". Yes her last school before we moved told me she is very smart and any school she went to would move her up. "Eddie seemed to take a liking to her". Yes I met him yesterday he's nice as far as I know her only friend. "Yeah the kids here can be pretty mean". I know what you mean you, Paige is your cousin? "Yes you are friends with her with your other friends". She seemed alone plus I was thinking if all but one has to go it will be nice to have a friend here when all but one is left. "Do you think you will be going home soon"? I hope not but this thing with Ella took me away from my edquite class, dance, and gymnastic. "Wow lot of stuff there if I remember correctly you were the only to have two specialties". "Your friend Stacey only had art, the boys both only had football. I also believe you put you can sing". Well that may be true but I am still missing out on classes. "I will talk to my father for you none of this is you or your daughter fault". Thank you. "Now when did you meet Eddie"? Yesterday they are in the after school program together. "That's nice". And you aren't you going to get in trouble for missing football pratice? "Nah coach knows how i take care of Eddie". Well that's good. Someone knocks on the door and the girl who gave me a snobby glare comes in. She still gives me the snoblish look but she looks at Nate and gives him a nice pep smile. The headmaster will see the both of you now. We walk out of the door with the kids and go to the another door. That say headmaster on it. The lady lets us in and leaves but not before giving me another glare. Nate and i take a seat on the chairs in front of the desk. 'Hello Rebecca i am sorry this is how we had to meet again'. Its quite alright Ms. Stella. I am glad that Eddie was there to stand up for her. You see my daughter is loyal and friece if you try to hurt the people she loves but, she will not stand up for herself and that's what worried me when she came to this school. 'I know i am sorry Rebecca truly'. I know i am sorry to this isn't your fault i shouldn't get angry but it's the mother in me worry about her.' Don't worry about it mothers like you are always welcomed'. 'Now you your highnesses he hit another kid Nathaniel someone needs be punished'. "Okay what do you propose then"? 'One day of suspension and apology'." We will do the suspension but not the apology no way the kid dissevered it". Alright it's settled with the school. If he is suspended I am not taking my kid to school tomorrow. Without him their they will pick on her because she is new and she got him in trouble plus she was moved up a grade. 'You too aren't going to make this year easy for me are you'. Sorry to say this Ms. Stella but probably not. 'Okay how about this both of your kid and brother are suspended from school tomorrow and can come back Wednesday'. I would have to figure something out but I can do that. "Sure that's fine with us". 'Great now that's settled you all can leave now'. Thank you. Come on kids lets go. With that we all leave the room. "So how are you planning on having her and go to school". I'll just take her to school with me. "Woah you don't want to do that". An why not Mr. Perfect prince. "Glad to know you think I am perfect". Hitting him a little on the arm. Shut up. "Seriously you don't want to do that they will make fun of you until you wished you never came here".  Don't you think I know that but I can't miss a whole day worth of school and I will not leave her alone. So it only leaves me taking her to school. I start to walk away with Ella following behind. "Wait"! I stop and turn around. What? "I was planning and not coming to school tomorrow anyway if you want I can take care of them both". I don't even know you. "You know me your taking a class all about me and my family". Well... Ring. Ring. Looking down I see my phone is ringing seeing it is Todd. Wow great timing. I give Nate apologic smile before answering it. Hello? 'Hey Becka'. Hey Todd now's not really a good time. 'Oh I am sorry if you want I can call you back but it's getting pretty late over here I wanted to call now so I can rest can't be sleepy on the force'. I know I am sorry to your right here why don't you talk to Ella. 'Sure thank you I've missed that little girl'. I know it's hard not to miss her when she's half way around the world with me. Taking the phone away from my ear. Ella. Yes? Todd's on the phone he wants to speak with you. Yeah! she gets the phone from me and goes back with Eddie. "Her dad"? Family friend, but she thinks of him as a dad. "Ah makes sense". Yep anyway I don't know you enough to leave my daughter with you for a day. "Come one she will be fine I practically raised Eddie and look how good he turned out". Turning away I look an see Eddie playing with Ella hair while she's on the phone. I can't believe I doing this. Fine she can spend the day with you but I get her back unharmed, happy and if she so much as scrap her knee I will hurt you. "Your threating a crown prince". So like I give a dam if your prince or not she's is the only person I have left. "Your such an American crazy and stupid". Watch it I am American but I am not crazy or stupid I am just protective, any mother would be and look up my grades they speak for themselves. "Alright I will give you that where do you want to meet for me to pick her up". My apartment in the morning so i can get all her stuff ready. "I'll get all the info from my dad and talk to him about today". Thank you. Having stopped right outside the office we countine walking with kids in front of us. If i can ask why isn't Eddie part of the royal line. I see his jaw lock and i know right then i shouldn't of asked that. "I think if i asnwer that you have to asnwer who is Ella dad". This time my jaw lock thinking of our dad six feet under already. Fair enough Nate. Nate and Eddie walk us to our car. 'Here mommy Todd wants to talk to you'. Grabbing the phone from Ella i unlock the car. Looking over i see Nate straping Ella into the carseat. Hello. 'Hey Beca just wanted to tell you bye my family is hoping you will be here for Christmas'. I know most likely Ella will want to go back home for christmass. But most likey she will want her best friend to come with us. And i don't think it will be good to have her friend and her friends brother. 'Wow Becka this guy and his brother for you i am going to have you explain more later'. Haha very funny Todd we will mostly likely home. We will talk more soon i have to get home. 'Okay you can call me at seven its an hour before i go into work. So thats like eleven or twelve your time'. Alright i will call you tonight and well morning for you. 'Great bye'. Bye With that i hang up the phone and see Nate just standing their looking at me. How much of that did you hear Nate? Not that much. He says but he has that smirk that says other wise. Anyway i will see you tommorow at seven am. Sounds good. With that he starts to walk away with Eddie but soon he turns around.  "We'd be happy to come to America for Christmas". With that he turns around and a few minutes he's gone. Son of a bi***. Not saying it i know Ella will call me out and make me put money in the swear jar. Finally inside i take a calming breath. Within a few minutes we started are way back home. Well Ella your birthday is this Saturday. What do you want to do? Please don't say spend the day with Eddie. 'Spend the day with Eddie'. She all but practically yells out. Dam. Well they can't spend the whole day. How about we go out and do ballet. The private dance studio is open on weekends. We can go and have for a bit then spend the afternoon with them. After they leave we can go home and eat cake and ice cream with Stacey and the guys. 'Okay mommy'. Great we can go to the store maybe tomorrow so i can get cake mix. I'll make your favorite cake. 'Yeah'​! With that we she plays with her dolls she kept in the car. Within five minutes we are out and going inside the elevator to our floor. After a few minutes we stop and get out. Sighing i know when the rest get home i have to explain. Then get everything ready for tomorrow. 'Mommy are you okay"? Yeah i am just tired. 'Mommy am i going to school with you'? Oh no as much as i would love to show everyone who the most prettiest girl is. You cant come you are spending the day with Eddie and his older brother. 'Yeah! Eddie'. Glad your happy now come on lets go do our homework. With that we go inside our room and she goes sits down in the desk. While I start of thinking of all the things  she needs for tomorrow. I haven't been away from Ella since she was two weeks old before mom left.  Sure she went to school and daycare but that's not the same I was with right after I was done being busy. Which at the most five hours. It will be okay she will be okay. 'Mommy I finished my work'.  Oh okay lets go see if your aunts and uncles are home. She puts all her work away and we leave to the living room. Seeing everyone is already their I ask Ella to go and watch TV. Hey everyone can I talk to you all I know you have questions. They all look to each other and gives nods and follow me too the dinning room. Once they come and all sit down I sat down and start to explain what happen to Ella. Leaving out the part of Ella spending part of her birthday with them. "Wow so are you actually going to leave her with him". Yeah I have no choice plus she will be safe he's a prince. 'Your call Becka she's your sister/daughter thing'. Thanks for your opinion Stacey. Sorryy. "Sorry for all this Becka but we have the same schedule if you want we can get her from him right after football practice". Nah it's fine might as well let him keep her for the whole day two extra hours won't mean much if she's anywhere but with me. Okay suit your self. Once that is settle Stacey and I get stated on dinner. She fills me in on all what I missed for today in manner class. After thirty minutes we finished making pasta and chicken with sauce mixed in. With the guys setting the table I go and grab Ella and we go wash up for dinner. Ten minutes later we walk in and everyone is already and sitting down waiting for us. They all give us smiles to us and Stacey survies us until all of us have plates that are full. Not much is said the guys talk about football practice and their team mates. They seem to be having a great time adjusting. Of course they ask Ella what she wants for her birthday. She says something about the trolls movie that came out. All to soon we finish and I help clean up the tables with the guys. With the guys help we clean up everything fifteen minutes. They leave to their rooms. While Ella and I go to our room once in their I go take Ella a bath. So I can get her ready for bed. Come El lets go take you a bath. 'No'. No? You don't tell me no Ella I'm your mother you do as I say. 'But I don't want to'. Come on El not tonight don't you want to be rested so you can have fun with Eddie tomorrow? Her head hangs low and she nods. 'Okay sorry mom'. It's alright now come on. With that we leave to the connecting bathroom and I take her a quick bath. Once she is ready for bed I comb her hair and make a braid so it will be curly for tomorrow. After she's ready I place her in the bed and grab my things so I can do some left over work that I have. Goodnight Ella I will be in bed later I have things to do. 'Alright mommy I love you always'. And for ever love you too. With that give her a kiss and on the head before leaving out the door. I see none of the lights are on in here except for one lamp. Using that light as my guide I head to the dinning room. Placing all my things down I get started on my work from today. An my notes for manners class. Doing my work I feel like twenty minutes pass but looking at the clock I see it's been two hours going to be midnight. Dam I need to go to sleep. Packing all my things away I go back to our room and places my things at the bottom of the bed. Being as quiet as I can I grab some spare clothes for the night and go do a quick shower. Ten minutes later all I feel now is tired. Drying my hair with the towel as much as I can I go and lay down next to her. A million thoughts run through my head but I try to calm them. By thinking of what I should get Ella for her birthday and what exactly are we doing for that day. My eyes close on their own accord an sleep takes me.
