I'm kind of surprised you've picked my story to read. I have written other books before this, but ultimately, this was the first book I ever wrote. I discovered the original draft of this book that I wrote when I was 11, and I recently made the decision to rewrite it.
I think this will be fun because I'll get to reflect on my improvement as a writer. Heck, its a nine year difference! I've changed some of the plot, characters and themes, but I am trying to stick as closely as possible to the original idea. More or less, this is a dedication and salute to my childhood.
You will find mystery, death, mild language and some dark themes. It is an apocalyptic theme but there are no zombies. Think of it as a world that is slowly starving while the government hunts the survivors.
In this book, humans are the enemy.
