Chapter 8: A Morning in Daegu

A beach in Daegu

A soft groan left her lips, her head was ringing as entire body hurt. She could a soft voice all her name as her conscious slowly returned. She finally gathered enough strength to open her eyes, the bright early morning sun almost blinded her. She eyes finally adjusted to the light, the girl slowly tried to make out her surroundings. She could hear her friends sighing in relief.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Her friend shouts. She groans and presses her hand against her ear. She immediately regretted that as she felt a strong pain. Her friend mutters a soft apology, "I was so worried I thought you went missing or something. You heard the stories about the missing girls."

"I'm sorry... I don't know what happened." She whispered, she struggled to get those few words out. What the hell happened to her, why did everything hurt so much? She was so lost and confused. Last thing she remembered was leaving for a party done by the beach with her, everything after that is a blur.

"Yo, last night was so lit. You got like super drunk and threw up like 3 times. We tried to stop you but you wouldn't listen. We tried to take your drunk ass home but then you fell down 3 flights of stairs. We took you the hospital but before the doctors could do anything you were already gone. " Her other friend said. She sighed, that explained so much but some was still missing. "But hell that was only like 11:30. We looked for you for like an hour before giving up. Then this morning we came back to the beach and found you passed out here."

The girl tried to sit up but feel back down, she groaned loudly, everything about that had hurt a shit ton. What the actual hell made her get so drunk and what the hell did she do all morning. "Come let's take you to the hospital, and don't run away this time." Her friend said. She nodded and they helped her up.

Bona really hated herself now. Almost all of limbs hurt, her head was spinning and now that she was standing she felt extremely nauseous. She really needed to sit down and talk to herself about her behavior.

As her friends help drag her lifeless body to their car, Bona notices a girl lying in sand wearing a long blue dress. She couldn't make out much detail since they were so far away.

"Hey do you guys see that girl? Is she ok?" She inquired pointing in the girl direction.

Her friends looked in the direction confused, no one was there. "You're probably hallucinating. Maybe it's from when you banged your head against the stairs. We should get that checked soon." Her friend mutters.

Bona closed her eyes for a second before opening them again and looking back in the direction. The girl was still there, now trying to stand. She looked liked she was struggling, and she was drenched. Bona sighed, she wished she could help but she can barely support her own weight.

After a while, Bona and her friends arrived at the car they had rented out for the weekend. Bona laid back on the car seat, taking a long, slow breath. She looked back at the beach and saw the same girl walking slowly across the sand, her long dress dragging on the ground, her hair flowing in the wind.

Bona hoped that there was really a girl there and it wasn't another hallucination. They never meant anything good.

Once again I fail at being consistent with my books lol. I wanted to make the chapter long but meh.
