"Y-y-y-"

The exact words I said right in front of the winged horse.

It was completely white and yes, it was definitely hard to believe that the creatures exist, and hey, it can speak.. IT CAN TALK!!!! IN FLUENT ENGLISH! Add that to unbelievable things Saim has gone through, sheesh, what a life!

The horse stomped a foot on the ground.

"Wow", he exclaimed, "You're not that bright, I imagined a bit more like that owl goddess? But hey, I have to respect you, ya know".

The horse turned sideways to reveal two big, blue bags, which I thought were very heavy judging from the way he turned.

"Y-y-you have w-w-wings!", I pointed at it. Discovering you were a son of an ancient god was one thing, but seeing a horse with wings and can talk? That was another.

"Yes I do you genius", he said sarcastically at me, "I'm not called a pegasii for nothing".

Okay, this horse really needs to be in a conference for wing issues.

I looked at the bags it was carrying.

"What's in there?", I asked pointing at the bags.

Yes, I do a lot of pointing, it makes me feel comfortable.

The horse looked around at the campers gathering around it.I, out of curiosity also looked around at the others, I was really feeling a bit awkward having a loud conversation with a horse.

And when I looked at them, all I saw were strange faces gawking me, it was like I did something strange, or gross, or something that can catch attention. I saw the demigods from the Ares cabin laughing at me, Clarisse's laugh was definitely the loudest.

I turned to the opposite side and there was Seph and my sister, Sheri talking to each other.

"Uhm", I said to Seph with a voice that was a bit concerned, "What's going on? Why is everybody looking at me as if I was a weird guy!"

Seph looked around also, and then she laughed, "That's because in their point of view, you did", she looked at the horse, "You see, other people can't talk to horses".

I swallowed a huge bit of embarrassment, "Wait, we were just--"

"Only Poseidon kids can talk to horses", Seph continued, "It's one of the special abilities of, well, you guys". She gestured to Sheri.

"But this one is different", my sister spoke stabbing her sword to the ground, "I'm your sister, but I can't even hear him speak, It's like you have a special link that only you alone can hear".

I do feel a bit of awkwardness, I can speak to this horse? really?

I turned to the horse once more.

"If you're here, then do you have a name?"

"I'll tell you later", he said coming next to me, "So?.. You have any comfortable places a pegasus can hang?".

----------------------------------------------------------

Seph lead us to the camp stables... right after she and Sheri convinced the others to continue on with their activities and not mind the new kid.

"New Kid".

That's a strange call, but I guess it'll have to do for the meantime.

Sheri ran off after that, said that she has still a trip to the underwater kingdom waiting.

The stables were empty, but it smelled of hay and wet horse.

And how do I know the smell of wet horse?
