Millions of eons ago, in a time even before the world was created, were two peoples. The first were the people of the water. The were brave and wise, with pale skin and glittering eyes; eyes that challenged any and all who opposed them. The second were the people of the fire. They were strong and reckless, with the ability to leap through space, and hair as bright as the crackling fires. Now these two peoples were at war. The people of the water believed they should be in control, because they held the wisdom of the worlds, and because they thought that the only fighting to be done, was to be done through words. The people of the fire on the other hand, thought they should be in control because they had no fear, and that battle and bloodshed showed true dominance. Each clan was preparing to fight, when one day a man of great power produced to them a proposition. He proposed that they would each have a ruler; a single ruler with much power and strength. He also promised each their own domain, and with a flick of his hand The world was created. He gave the people of fire the time of light, which he called day, and as their ruler produced a large floating orb of fire, which they decided to call Sol which translates to sun. Likewise, for the people of water he granted them the time of dark and created a softer, dimmer orb, and with it, thousands of twinkling lights the people called stars. They named their new queen Celine, which they deciphered to mean moon. From that day on, the people pledged their allegiance to this man they called the creator, and to their respective ruler, and they lived in harmony for all of eternity.
Until Now.
