*Louis's P.O.V*

I stepped inside Granny's Local Diner and the familiar scent of burgers & grease greeted me.

"Will it be your regular today Louis?" Lola, the waitress, asked me.

I mumbled a small yes in response & took a seat at the bar. Living in a small town has its disadvantages ; only one diner. I come here everyday for dinner, Monday through Friday because I'm fat.

Everybody knew me here & I knew everybody. I started playing on my phone while awaiting my order and blocked out the chit-chat coming from the booths of people.

The sound of jingles notified everybody that the diner had a new customer that just walked through the door.

The room went silent but I was too busy on my phone to notice. I felt a presence next to me sitting two chairs over from me at the bar.

"W-what would you like today sir?" Lola stuttered in fear. Now that caught my attention. I looked up at the man next to me.

To say I wasn't shocked is a lie. I knew it was written all over my face and that I should probably stop staring. But I've never seen anybody like this.

He had tattoos all over his arm, neck, and the little bit of chest I could see. His face had piercings and it made him look terrifying. His fluffy curly hair looked like he just crawled out of bed, messy, but adorable. He was extremely fit and had piercing green eyes.

"Are you all going to stare at me like I'm a fucking monster or are you going to get back to what y'all were doing?" the guy spat.

It took a couple of seconds but soon everybody went back to their conversations. Lola shivered and stood there patiently waiting for his order. Fumbling with the keys on my phone I decided to lock it and put it on the counter. He was new in town ; I was pretty damn sure about that. Staring at him out of the corner of my curious eyes, he glanced over and glared at me.

"Hey, I'm Louis!" Putting a grin on my face I stuck my hand out at the boy. Lola shook her head and I could just imagine she was chuckling in her head.

He growled at me and turned to Lola harshly giving her his order. I winced at getting rejected and waited for him to get done.

"So what's your name?" was my attempt to keep this 'conversation' going.

"Why does it matter to you?" He crinkled his nose at me.

"I figured you needed somebody to help you around town," I smiled at him.

"Well you figured wrong," he growled.

I sighed giving up trying to be friends with this curly hair boy.

Soon enough Lola came out with my order and I thanked her and left for home.

About two minutes into my walk I hear someone shout,

"Wait! You forgot your phone!" I turned around and I was frozen in my place.

It was the rude guy from earlier. He caught up to me and slightly bent over gripping his knees to catch his breath. He panted heavily and I waited for him to straighten up.

A minute or two later he stood up completely and I realized he was a head taller than me. I looked up to meet his eyes and I could've melted right then and there.

Cheesy but true.

He stuck the hand he clutched the phone in out to me and I gracefully took it out of his hand.

For the brief moment out hands touched, sparks shot up my arm. I know he felt it too because he jerked his hand away & wouldn't look me in the eyes.

"Thank you," I breathed out and turned on my heel to leave.

"Wait!" He called. I twisted around to see his gorgeous face.

"Is the offer for going around town still stand?" He smirked at me.

Holy shit.
