You know those days when you don't want to go out of bed? When the though of going to school is just not appealing? Those days when you just want to stay in your room all day watching videos on the Internet and eating junk foods until you puke?

I was planning to spend today like that, even though I was sick which meant that I would have to cut off the junk food part, but of course my devil of a mother was planning something else, it was one of those rainy days and my mother knowing I wasn't feeling well decided anyway to sent me to school, stating: "You'll get better, school is way more important."

More important my ass, how is going to a place where I hate everyone and learn absolutely nothing is more important than my own health?

And that is why I ended up in front of the school gates, an umbrella in my hand looking like a zombie because like I said before I am sick.

I was walking in the hallway making my way towards my locker.

I suddenly felt a hand on my back and the next thing I know I was on the ground with a broken umbrella in my hands.

"Get up from the ground you look pathetic."

I didn't even had to turn around to know who it was, I can already know by his damn voice.

"Did a cat ate your tongue or are you just being a quiet pathetic bitch?"

I get up from the ground, turning around only to face the one and only Dallon Weekes, the biggest bully in school, at least that's what he is towards me, he makes my school life miserable, I have the lowest self esteem because of him.

I said in a timid voice:

"You broke my umbrella."

I wish I wasn't that insecure, I wish I could be more confident, I wish I could stand for myself, and because of that I learned to believe Dallon whenever he says I'm pathetic and dumb because whenever he's around I can't help but to feel pathetic because I could never get him to leave me alone without looking like an idiot.

"Did I heard right? Are you acusing me? It's not my fault if you're fucking clumsy."

"But...y-you p-pushed me."

He made his way towards me looking very intimating.

"Listen up here, if I don't make you pay for accusing me like that my name is not Dallon Weekes."

His words left a shiver down my spine, who doesn't know him may think he's joking or exaggerating but I know he's very serious about it, he's not mad that I accused him he just like to see me scared and in pain, in this specific moment I wished I stayed at home.

After his threatening he left, him shouting while saying that caused all the students looking at me all the day, some laughing at me and some looking at me with pity. I wish I could just disappear.

It was the end of the day and there was no other sign of Dallon, I hope he forgot about this morning.

I was walking towards home with a broken umbrella while it was still raining thanks to Dallon, walking and thinking and wishing the next day will be better than the day before, thinking about the person I would love to be one day, a strong and confident woman who is not afraid of anyone or anything but judging by who I am right now my ideal is very far away.

I was lost in my thoughts and suddenly I heard a loud:

Thud!

I look up in the direction the sound came from, it seems like something heavy have hit the ground.

I stopped on my tracks only to find a beautiful amulet on the ground.

I picked up examinating the beautiful jewelry in my hands, I looks like it was made from real gold and silver and it have amazing turquoise diamonds.

"Hey brat!"

I turned around only to see two boys from my age approaching me, I took a few steps back, they had a few piercings on their tongues and noses and some scars on their faces that made them look like they just get out of prison.

"You're Hannah Jackson?"

I hesitated to answer them. These two don't look like good news at all.

"Yes, that's me."

And I swear there smiles were the creepiest I've ever saw.

"Good, you're friend Dallon sent us."

The other one spoke.

"He want us to give you a little lesson, so next time you'll think twice before accusing innocent people."

They approached in my direction preparing their fists, I started running in God knows where direction, I know Dallon hate me but I didn't think it would be to the point were he would sent people to beat me. I was running between the alleyways, the fact that it was still raining wasn't helping me at all. Suddenly I felt someone tackling me on the ground, it turned out to be one of the two boys, I start screaming for help so he put my hand on my mouth to shut me up.

Not too long after the other one came, I bit the boy's hand earning from him a curse and a slap from the other one. They started to beat me without mercy while I was screaming and crying.

"Leave me alone!"

This barely came out as a whisper, I'm so sick of always being the victim, I'm sick of always being put to shame, I never did anything bad to anyone I don't deserve it, I'm sick of everything!

"LEAVE ME ALONE!!"

It was only then that I realised the amulet was still in my hand because it suddenly started to shine, what was happening? The next thing I know the boys started screaming without reason then some kind of a silhouette appeared in front of me, sadly I couldn't see much but it seemed to have horns..?

Then, the shadow spoke,
"I think she ordered you to leave her alone gentlemen."
