A shiver travels the length of my spine causing me to bring my hands up and cover the bare skin of my arms, I don't think I will ever get used to the drastic change in temperature, when I exit the stone gates connecting my world with this one. It is particularly cold this evening in Hierapolis so cold that the usual group is not here to greet me. I smile noticing their absence. They could get quite annoying throwing flowers that would mess up my hair and sacred oils that ruin my cloths. This group of thirty or so men sleep out at the gates every night to beg for an audience with the great god of the underworld, Hades. Seeing as he is my father, they assume pestering me -their only real connection to the underworld- will give them some sort of special treatment. They couldn't be more wrong, but it is only natural for humans to be wrong, it's not their fault. A small portion of false hope is better than a riot, that. I don't need...
A breaking branch brings my awareness back to full. I've crossed a good amount of area while thinking of the men normally at my doorstep. I am coming upon one of most densely populated areas in Hierapolis. Here I have to be more careful that my identity is hidden, there are far more here that are against my kind then are for it. As I near the outlying houses of the city I draw the hood of my cloak over my head and its edges around my front to conceal my gun sword lying docile at my hip. I slow my pace to not alert any citizens. There are not many souls out on such a cold night, probably huddling up in their houses around grand fires that give off only a pathetic amount of heat compared to the ones in my world. The lack of attrition should make this mission an easy one. I'm only a few feet away from the temple of Zeus now. The stench of angels makes me want to cover my nose with the thick fabric of my hood, But I resist and stop only steps away from the entrance. I close my eyes pinpointing the stench of the angles here to protect the temple. My mission, kill each and every one guarding the temple then burn it to the ground. There are 5 angels inside, more than I had expected for a temple of this size. That's probably why I was sent here. to teach them to tread carefully when dealing with the great lord of the underworld. I smile at the thought; well I am more than willing to put them in their place. With that I step through the threshold of the temple.

When the heavy doors close behind me, the stench of angels is almost overwhelming burning the inside of my nose and filling my eyes with bloodlust. My steps echo off the stone walls and amplify my presence. This doesn't worry me though, they would have sensed me long before, as I did them. I can feel them moving, their pulses quickening. That's right be afraid, I think to myself. I am in the center of the main room of worship. The largest room in the temple, which contains a huge replica of Zeus himself. Looking at it sickens me, my lips pull back on instinct and a deep growl rips through my razor teeth.
"Children of Zeus, show yourselves!" Slowly five bodies image from the corridors hidden within the temple.
"Solace, Daughter of Hades, welcome to our humble temple" the tallest man speaks, he has white hair the purest white, a color that no human would be able to achieve naturally. This man is standing in the center of his tiny army of angels two flanking him on either side.
"If you have come to make a sacrifice, we have salts and vinegar at your disposal in the back room." He flashes me an apparently sincere smile with also blindingly white teeth.
"I think you know why I am here." I say with a coy smile. When my teeth flash I can feel the pulse of the two youngest angles pick up. "Now let's get down to business" I drop into a deep stance both of my hands touching the hilt of my gun sword. The feel of the raw metal on my skin makes me shiver. The shiver coming from the untapped power lacing its way through my arms.
"What do ya say?" I says teasingly as I tighten my grip on the hilt. The head angle waves his hand like he is dismissing her aggressive advance.
"That is quite unnecessary." He says calmly. I raise an eyebrow. "You see stupid girl, you are way outnumbered there is no way a single offspring of Hades will overtake 5 of the chosen." He says the last word with a sickening amount of pride.
