It Wont Work -Tyler Joseph x Reader-

Y/N POV:

I woke up to the not so friendly sound of my alarm, you climb out of bed and turn it off. Your cat meowed groggily, letting you know that you woke him up. You walk to your closet and swing open one of the doors, grabbing your crop top that had a small alien on it and high waisted black skinny jeans, so I didn't really show off your body.

I got dressed and walked into your bathroom, brushed my hair and putting it in a messy bun and cleaned my teeth, I headed downstairs and put some Reeses Puffs into a bowl, and pouring some milk in with them, grabbing a spoon and sitting at the table.

I turned on my phone and scrolled down my Instagram feed, seeing lots of posts made by all of these pretty girls, making you feel kind of sick.

I finish your breakfast and grab my black converse, swinging my bag over my shoulder and I ran out of the door, trying to avoid any human interaction. I ran to the bus stop and hopped on the overly crowded bus, sitting close to the back, which was a bad decision...

I sit down, on my phone, when someone kicks my chair behind me, I turn around looking slightly annoyed, when I see queen bee herself, Kira, I hate her so much, but everyone seems to look up to her like she's the best thing that has happened since sliced bread.

I just casually turn back around when the bus stops again, this time my two best friends Maddie and Lizzie get on the bus and sit with me.

"Hey Y/N!" Maddie said to me excitedly. I look up at her and smile, not saying anything

"Whats up Y/N?" Lizzie asks, concerned. Most people who know me would think I am mute as I rarely talk.

"Oh, I am fine," I say quite blandly. The two girls sit next to me and we head to school.

I got off the bus and walked to my locker, grabbing my maths and science books, I had some times to waist so I went to the court yard and sat on a bench reading my book. Kira came over to me, ugh.

"Hey, sweetheart, what ya reading?" She said in the voice of a pure angle, which is the opposite of what she is. I didn't say anything, so she decided to pour the last of her coffee onto the book, "Whoops, sorry, I'm a bit clumsy today." She said and then sashayed off into school.

.-Time skip-.

I was sat in science, the second period of the day when someone opened the door and walked in, he was tall and had short brown hair, with these deep brown eyes, he spoke to our teacher Mr. Duff, then he headed my way, I started to breathe slightly heavier than usual and he came over and sat next to me, "Hi, my names Tyler."

I heard laughing coming from behind us, I turned around and saw it was Kira, I went to open my mouth to say something, but I decided not to, "Hey, new kid, no point talking to her, she's pretty much mute, but I mean you could always hand out with me." She said twirling her hair and winking at him.

I could tell he thought about the offer, "Umm, no thank you." Is what he said to my surprise, no one ever exactly wants to sit with the quiet kid, they're no fun.

Tyler looked back over to me and smiled, I smiled back shyly, "Umm, " He looked over at my book," Y/N, why don't you talk?" I look at him, not too sure what to say.

I blink a couple times, "Uh, I'm not too sure." Really Y/N is that the best you could think of. He looks at me and nods, "You should try talking some time, you have a pretty voice." He looks back at the teacher and starts writing notes down.

I sit there for a moment, trying to process what he just said to me, I shake the thought out of my head and turn back to the teacher, trying to distract myself.

.-Time skip-.

It was finally the end of class and put my book in my bag and walked out of the classroom trying to find Lizzie and Maddie, desperate to tell them what just happened, but I guess my luck was out for today as Kira came running over to me.

"Umm, Y/N, please stay away from that cute boy, I have my eyes set on him and I don't need you getting in my way, thanks, babes, Tata!" Then she sashays away. I wasn't really interested in any of the boys from our school, but Tyler, now he's cute, and he was sweet to me today, Kira can't just tell me what I can and can't do, can she?

I was so caught up in my thoughts I didn't have time to go and see Maddie or Lizzie, as the bell had gone and I didn't have my other books, I run to my locker and grab my art book, I run as fast as can up the stairs and I reach my class, I was late, crap.

I knock on the door and open it, "S-sorry I'm late." I say to Mrs. Milan, but she doesn't seem to mind, "That's okay Y/N, please sit down." I nod my head and look at all of the available spaces, and I spot Tyler sat on his own, but Kira was following my view, and she gets up and sits next to him, leaving me to sit with her snobby friend Ivory or to sit on my own.

I decided to save myself the hassle with Ivory, I went and sat on my own, two desks away from Tyler and Kira and I could see her resting her head on his shoulder and laughing, this really annoyed me, but there was nothing I could do at this moment in time, which made me even more irritated.

While I was writing down the different techniques that I used in my art work, I did a rather loud sneeze that came out of nowhere, everyone went quiet and turned around to me, I focused on Tyler and Kira, I felt my heart rate rise and I could feel my face go bright red, Kira started laughing and so did the rest of the class, you felt like crying or screaming, but you didn't, you just sat there, taking in the fact that people were laughing at you, even Tyler.

You got up and ran out of class, and went to the bathroom, you could hear someone running behind you but you didn't stop. You swung the bathroom door open and to your surprise, you found Maddie in their washing her hands. You ran over and gave her a hug and started to cry.

"Whats wrong Y/N?" She said, giving you a hug back, "Well, I was writing in my art book and I sneezed really loudly and everyone started laughing, and you know I get very uncomfortable in those situations so I ran out, I heard someone following me but I didn't see who." You said, taking a deep breath after.

She just looked at you, quite surprised. "It's okay, I'll go and see if anyone is out there if there is I will kick the door before leaving, Okay?" I nodded slightly and watched her walk out, then there was silence, phew- *bang* I heard something hit the door and let out a long sigh, I walk to the door and opened it, wiping my eyes, Tyler was stood there...
