Drew was shaking. The police took his name and George's. His body was numb with disbelief.
He walked back over to the car. Scar looked at him.
"Drew, I'm-"
"There's nothing you can do about it...Lets just get you home..." Drew said.
"Don't you want to wait for your family?" Scar asked. A white van pulled up next to them.
Drew watched as his brothers and father's got out. He could see them all crying.
"Andrew! Whay happened!?" Grant, one of his father's said. His face was red with anger, tears running down his face.
"I don't know, sir..." Drew said. Grant grabbed Drew's collar and shoved him into the car. Drew gasped.
"You're lying..." Grant said. He punched Drew in the jaw. Drew whinced and spit out blood.
"What happened!" Grant asked again.
"I don't kn-!" Grant punched him in the gut.
"Dad..." Connor said. Drew looked up at Connor.
'He's going to save me!'
"We'll take it from here..." Connor said cracking his knuckles. Drew gasped.
'I should have seen that coming...'
Grant let go of Drew. Drew grunted and leaned against the car. He heard Scar get out of the car.
Connor grabbed Drew and punched him hard. Drew cried out. The rest of his brothers took turns beating him up. Drew was bleeding.
"Okay...My turn..." Sammy said pulling out a switchblade. It was his prized possession. Drew watched the blade glisten in the moonlight.
"No! Stop!" Scar said. Sammy looked at her.
"Who are you?" Sammy asked.
"None of your buisness. Now leave him alone. He's telling the truth."
Sammy snarled and brought the blade up to Drew's throat.
"How do you know? What are you? Straight?" Sammy laughed. So did everyone else.
"No. I'm gay as hell." Scar crossed her arms.
"Scar...I'm fine just...Go home..." Drew said. His voice was hoarse. Drew coughed up blood.
"Are you straight, Drewy?" Connor asked. His brothers growled.
"No." Drew said. He was starting to fade.
"Good. Cause if you were , we'd kill you." Grant said. He was comforting his husband, Paul, who was sobbing.
Drew watch as his brothers, except for Sammy, go over to Grant and Paul.
"I'm not finished..." Sammy said. He cut an X on Drew's chest. Drew cried out and watched as Scar jumped on Sammy.
Everything was going dark. Drew was laying on the ground. He watched Scar punched Sammy. He heard a loud crack and Sammy scream.
"Come on, Drew." Scar said helping him up. Drew swayed on his feet. Scar helped him to the passenger seat.
Drew saw his brothers crowd around Sammy. Connor stared daggers at Drew. He stared back as Scar went in reverse.
"Drew, stay awake. I need you to stay awake..." Scar said. Drew shook his head.
"Why..." Drew said. He felt the dark warm liquid drip on to his hand, felt it soak his shirt.
"Cause my mom can help." Scar said. Drew slumped forward. He head was spinning.
"Drew? Drew!" Scar said. Drew straightened up.
"Why are you helping me?" Drew said his words slurring.
"Cause...Cause no one deserves that..." Scar said.
Drew looked at her, searching her eyes. "Thank you..." Drew said looking away.
"Glad to help..." Scar said.
