XII. CAMERON

MAGCON Couple

"What's your deal?" Alison started.

Cameron just stared at her. What was up with Alison? Just one moment oh my god, you two should totally date and then the second just leave her alone.

"What do you mean?" he asked, dumbfounded.

"I know that you know Kate hated one of your type."

"What type?"

"A type called one night stands."

Cameron studied her, but she wasn't easy. Of course, she was Alison first and foremost.

"And your point is . . . ?"

Then she pulled back a word. The only sound that they heard was a notification from a phone. Alison grabbed her phone and texted someone back.

Alison took a second before saying, "Kate will get hurt. If by any chance my best friend came running to me while crying - "

"Cut the crap, Alison. Why don't you just admit that you're still in love with me?"

Alison slapped him. A crisp, hard and loud slap. Cameron was sorry and it was obvious by Alison's body contact that she was too. No one talked aside from a phone but she ignored it. Cameron can just feel his cheek redden - but not because of blushing. She pursed her lips looking at Cameron's red cheek. Cameron knew she was just trying to be tough when she said, "you don't know me, not anymore."

She was walking and Cameron grabbed her arm, "I'm sorry."

"No. I'm sorry. For falling in love with a jerk like you," he pointed at his chest. Cameron closed his eyes, accepting every word she was saying. She's right, actually. Cameron was a jerk. "I can't believe we would cross our lines after 3 years. I just want my best friend to be happy but you kept coming back."

Alison wanted to say something, Cameron knew it. But she didn't say anthing. She whipped her arm and walked back in the beach house. You're probably eager to know what happened 3 years ago. It was all back in 10th or 11th grade. Cameron dated Alison and Kate knew nothing. It was a secret relationship no one knew. Alison was the first girlfriend Cameron had. But at the same time, Cameron had sex with Kate. He didn't want to say it to her but he did. She was so mad she wanted to kill Cameron. (No name mentioned.)

Cameron waited outside Kate and Alison's room. He wanted to knock but if Kate was the one to answer and saw Cameron like this. Eyes popping and nose puffed, with a red cheek. He suddenly fell asleep and woke up his eyes being opened and being blowed on. Cameron blinked and got up, he saw Kate smiling. He wiped his eyes and hugged Kate, I'm sorry, he wanted to whisper.

"For what?"

Cameron pushed her away, "what?"

"You said you were sorry. But for what?"
