Chapter 9: Scott's Secret

You don't have to walk that far to get to Scott's house. You arrive at 6:10pm.

Scott opens the door. "You guys are late."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Just show Delphine. She's excited."

"I can't wait."

"Okay then. Follow me." Scott walk to what seems to be his room. His room is on the ground floor.

"Come in. He steps aside to let us in. Cosima, you can do the honors." He smiles.

"Thanks Scott."She turns to you. "What you're gonna see is gonna blow your mind." She turns back around and walkes to a bookshelf. She grabs a book and pulls it half out. You hear a clicking sound and the bookshelf starts to move. You stand tgere with your mouth wide open. Looking at the bookshelf.

"Did you make this?" You turn to Scott who is looking proudly to the bookshelf."

"I got some help tho." He points at Cosima. "It was actually her idea. We couldn't do it in her house because of her parents. They're a little strict."

You look back at Cosima and see that she's a little sad. You decide to ask her another time.

"Maybe i should ask my parents for one." you joke.

"I think they would be okay with it. They seem sweet." Cosima says while smiling at you.

"Did you meet her parents?" Scott asks a little confused.

"Yeah, i had diner at hers." she says.

"Can i see what's inside now?" you ask while looking at the door that formed behind the bookshelf.

Cosima pushes a code in on the door and steps aside. "After you my lady." she jokes. A smile appearing on her face.

You smile back and walk inside. There is a little hallway and then stairs that go way down. You walk down the stairs and when you reach the bottom you just stand there for a minute looking at what was around you. You rubbed your eyes. You couldn't believe that this was real.

You saw a big dome. It looked like you where underwater. Wait! Where you underwater?

"In case you're wondering, yes we are underwater." Cosima says from behind you."

"Wow, what is this? Did you make this?" you turn to Scott. You still can't believe what you are seeing.

"Well, it was Cosima's idea and i just made it i guess. It wasn't easy to do this tho with the water and stuff. Living close to the beach can be nice." He laughed.

You walk around in the room. It's all made out of glass. Even the floor. How did they manage to make this?

"I'll give you a little tour around." Cosima's voice brings you back to reality.

"I would like that." you aswer.

"It's bigger than it looks. We have four rooms. A lab which is this place, a kind of chill room, a bathroom and a sort of office with computers. We also have something very special.

"Robo!" Cosima yells.

Suddenly a weird robot looking thing comes out of one of the rooms. It walks over to Cosima.

"Welcome Miss Niehaus. Welcome Mr. Scott. How are you today?" the robot asks.

"Thanks Robo. We are doing great. We brought a friend." Cosima points at you.

Looks like his name is Robo.
Robo looks at you and walks over to you. "Welcome! Can i know your name miss?" Robo asks politely.

"I'm Delphine Cormier."

"Welcome Miss Cormier." Robo walks a little closer and opens his arms. Does he want to hug you? You do the same and he hugs you. You look at Cosima. You see that's she's looking at Scott and laughing.

Robo let's go and walks back to Cosima. "Would you like a drink miss Niehaus?"

"I told you before, call me Cosima and we will get something if we need it, but thanks anyways." She smiles at the robot. He walks away. "Call me if you need anything."

You stand there for a minute, still recovering of what you just saw. Could this day get any weirder?
