CHURCH

MICKEYS POV
today dally, pony, johnny  and I were driving and dally was telling Johnny what jail could do to him.

When we noticed that the church had caught fire and people were outside it

Dally drove toward it as fast as he could.

I jumped out and ran towards the older lady.

I heard dally and Johnny asking where I was going but I ignored them.

I heard her say there were still children in the church.
So I did what I knew I had to.

I ran to the boarded windows then Johnny screamed "mickey" and helped me.

We broke the wood.

We went inside and looked for then kids and found them on the opposite side of he church in a corner.

Then the window got busted down revealing dally.

We started grabbing the kids handing them to pony and dally.

After the roof started collapsing I grabbed Johnny and tried pulling him towards the window but the roof was collapsing.

Then Dally  came in and pulled me out.

"Johnny" I whispered
I landed on the grass with a thud then everything went black.

DALLY'S POV (SHOCKING)

Mickey  went inside the building handing the kids to pony and me .

Then I noticed the roof was starting to collapse so I went in and grabbed mickey and pulled her out.

"Stupid kid" I said shaking her.

Then I heard Johnny scream and the roof collapsed on him "I'm coming Johnny" I said going into the church.

PONY'S POV

When the roof collapsed on johnny I didn't know what to think I was shocked and terrified.

The ambulance and firefighters came and put out the fire.

Mickey Dally and Johnny were taken to the hospital I went to a pay phone and called Darry to tell him what happened and he picked me up and we drove to the hospital.

MICKEY'S  POV
I woke up in the back of an ambulance.

"Johnny. Dallas. pony" I tried speaking but got cut off

I tried sitting up but got pushed down by a man.

"Hey they are behind us its ok" I heard the man say.

"You guys are 3 of the bravest kids I've seen" the man told me.

"What are you guys heroes or something "
The man asked me.

"Greasers" I responded my voice cracking.

"You kidding me?" He questioned.

"Nah I ain't kidding you" I told him.

Then I fell unconscious

Once we arrived I noticed I was in a bed and a nuse was checking my shoulder she said it's nothing major just some burns from the fire.

After a hour I was released.
I walked out of my room to see two-bit standing at the desk.

"two-bit "I said loud enough for him to hear.
