"Hi, my name's Macy." I held out my hand to the infamous Archie Andrews as we sat outside for lunch. He stared at me with a smile as I waited for him to shake my hand.
"Archie. Archie Andrews." Archie quickly said shaking my hand making me let out a small laugh.
"Macy just moved here about a month ago. Right next to Betty." Kevin said smiling at me.
"Why'd you move." Archie asked taking a sip of his milk.
"Well aren't you a nosy one Andrews." I let out a small playful smirk making him let out a small chuckle.
"Oh Betty, Mom asked if you would like to come over for dinner, tomorrow night. She said she wants to get to know you." I looked at Betty and pulled off my jacket putting it around my waist.
"Yeah that's fine." Betty sent me a smile as she ate her food. I opened my mouth to say something but Veronica beat me to it.
"Mind if I join?" Veronica stood at the end of the table with a smile.
"Yeah. Here you can sit next to me." I patted the seat next to me after I scooted over closer to Kevin.
"What are we doing?" Veronica asked taking the seat I offered.
"Listening to one of Archie's songs before Macy sat down." Betty nudged Archie smiling at him.
"I thought we were going to have to pretend, to like it, but it's actually really good." Kevin said smiling t making me let out a giggle at his honesty.
"You write music?" I asked smiling at Archie and moving a piece of hair out of my face.
"Macy actually sings." Betty said lightly nugding me with her foot under the table.
"No I don't." I said quickly sending Betty a glare.
"Wait, that was you singing? Something you wrote?" Veronica asked looking at Archie shocked.
"It's rough." Archie shook his head slightly looking down at the papers in front of him.
"No, it's great." Betty quickly said snapping her head towards Archie.
"It's incredible, actually, the little snippet I heard. Are you doing something with that?" Veronica asked once again.
"Yeah that's the plan. So Macy, Veronica how's your first day going? Good?" Archie smiled at Veronica and I.
"Not to be a complete narcessist, but I thought people would be more," Then Kevin cut Veronica off making me look away hiding my smile. "Obsessed with you? Another year you would be trending number one for sure. This year, though, it's all about Cheryl trying to win the Best Supporting Psycho Oscar for her role as Riverdale High's bereaved Red Widow." Kevin added making me scrunch up my nose at the Cheryl girl.
