(A/N: All characters are fictional, they're based on my real life friends but none of us personally know 1D or their relatives so none of these circumstances ever happened to them! (: )

Bri POV

5... 4... 3... 2... 1.

The sound of the last school bell that year set me free.

Overexcited sophomores ran out of the classroom, but I was the one staying.

I felt the rays of the sun strike my pale skin as I ran to Jillian's car.

"Bri! Oh my god, it's summer!" she said. Back in middle school, Jillian was my only friend, and we were in different grades.

Hayle and Kylie were already in the backseat. "Only 2 more years of band..." I let tears stream off my face, but the smile remained.

"Bri, it'll be ok! It's also 2 more years of algebra." Hayle said, the sarcasm she's had for the past years remaining.

"Get in the front seat, we're going to Biker Plaza," Jillian said, the same smile the insecure seventh grader had.

I opened the car door on the red convertible. "Oh, look, it's Harry," Kylie laughed.

His ghostly face framed by brunette, gel-styled hair and shocking green eyes walked by. Jillian turned on her car and the radio started blasting an MCR song which turned many heads. "Oops, yesterday me and Kylie were driving around and we couldn't hear anything over this," she said, Kylie laughing in the backseat.

"Alright. To summer 2016!" Jillian shouted, causing an uproar of us 4.

Right as she reversed the car, someone pushed against it. "What the hell, Harry?" Hayle spat.

"Woah," the tall figure stepped back. "calm down, freshman."

Hayle showed Harry her middle finger, causing Kylie to chuckle. "Gemma can ride in the backseat with you guys. Where are you going? Biker's?"

"Yeah, until you stopped my damn car," Jillian laughed.

Kylie's girlfriend climbed into the backseat. "It's finally summer!" Gemma said, placing a hand on Kylie's small thigh.

"Have fun," Harry said, kicking the tire of the car and leaving.

"Let's get the hell out of here already," I chanted.

"True that. Accelerate!" Jillian stepped on the gas pedal and sped out of the parking lot.

The 5 girls in the car all screamed as we kissed school goodbye for 3 months. Hayle even spat on the concrete.

I felt the wind through my hair and threw my hands in the air. We all sang along to the radio and sped past the brick house neighborhood where I lived. Mom comes home at 6, so... we're good.

Harry POV

The bell rang, and I thrusted my backpack over my shoulder, and ran into the hallways. Finally out of this hell of a place. I met up with Gemma, Niall, Liam and Louis. "What do you wanna do now that next year's out last and all we have is sunmer?" I asked them.

"I'm gonna ride with Kylie," Gemma beamed. Most relationships don't work out but I must admit, same-sex couples just seem so much better. I'm not gay but Gemma's bi and I'm ok with that.

When I walk outside the blistering sun smiles at me. Couples making out everywhere, people crying everywhere, I'm just glad to leave. 4 girls in a convertible just blasted music. Oh, it's Kylie's group. Gemma and my other friends sit on a bench but I walk up to them. I kind of have a small thing for one of them... it's nothing.
