My Five Mates

Chapter Two

Time has gone by so fast, there was literally only 3 more hours and it'd be my birthday. I couldn't wait. I'd find my mate and I'd connect with someone on a deeper level. I hadn't felt this excited since I got my first ever phone, and that was a while back.

I look at my phone, 6:30am it read. I decide to lie in bed for an hour looking through some messages my friends.

I get up, walk into my bathroom. I shower, brush my teeth, my hair, change into a killer outfit and decide to go to a café. Taking note to clean my room I get my purse and my phone as well as some money just in case I wanted to go shopping. I walk out of the mansion I call home and begin my walk around town.

All the stores were very up to date so they were all amazing, if I could go into every store I would but that'd take too long.

As I'm looking through a window I notice a very handsome guy looking at some cool clothes and shoes, it dawns onto to be I've been staring for a while. I think the guy felt my gaze because the next thing I knew I was face to face with lovely blue eyes and plump lips that'd love to kiss.

I smell the most amazing scent coming from this guy, I sniff some more and realize he's a wolf and definitely my mate. Looking at my watch I realize I'd been so caught up with shopping I'd forgotten the time.

Mister Handsome turns around walks out the store to be closer to me.

'Hello Beautiful', He said. I felt butterflies in my stomach, I was very nervous but I didn't wanna seem weird I answered back. 'Hi', I said very shyly. 'You're even more beautiful then I would've ever dreamed' Handsome said.

'Thank you, I'm Rosella', 'Hello Rosella I'm Carlos'.

He takes my hand and pulls me towards a Starbucks to get to know each other. Once there we talk for hours, I felt like I'd know him my whole life which wasn't surprising. In 3 hours I'd told him my life story and he'd told me his.

We never did order anything at Starbucks we were too busy getting to know one another. Time had flied so fast that Starbucks had kicked us out to close up.

I'd told Carlos that today was my birthday, and he'd said he would take me out somewhere, even though we both weren't dressed for anything fancy it was still very kind.

We walk to his car and he opens the door for me, I feel so special and loved. I get in and before he closes the door I say thank you, "You're welcome", he says and closes the door walking to his side.

As Carlos was driving we sat in silence, not awkward silence the kind of silence that is comfortable, like we were deep in thought. Some music was playing as we made our way to the restaurant. It was an unfamiliar song that was playing but it defiantly was good, I moved my head to the beat enjoying the way it made me feel.

He pulls up to the Restaurant named La Famalia, I hadn't been but I'd heard good things about it. He opens my door and we start making our way to the entrance. He asks for a table for 2. We are then lead to a table that is near the middle meant for two people. As I look left to right I see many couples and families enjoying their meals.

One thing I notice is the music, it's so cheerful and in a different language it's so beautiful. Carlos pulls out my chair, I sit down and he pushes it in. He's such a gentleman. A waiter comes and takes our order, we make conversation as we wait for our food, and I ordered a chicken based meal while Carlos went with medium rare steak with some other stuff I didn't pay attention to.

I sniff the restaurant when I smell something amazing. What is that I thought? The smell is becoming stronger every second. Shocked I lock eyes with a handsome man, it was then that I knew he was my mate. As I'm thinking that we both say "Mate" at the same time.

Hey guys i'm super sorry lets just say i suck. I shouldn't make promises i can't keep, anyway i hope this is good so that you can all say it was worth the wait.  Ha who am i kidding this isn't exactly exciting, wait another few months for chapter 3 lol.
