I run outside to see what had just happened. As soon as I get out there I see that my parents had just gotten in the worst car accident I have ever seen. I run to the car wreck and look through the car and see that my brothers were in the back covered in blood and my parents had gone through the windshield. I was terrified that they were going to die. An ambulance had taken them away and later I got a call saying that none of them survived. I was devastated. I had no clue what to do. I started walking around and went all over my city thinking on how I'm going live without anyone to take care of me. I then saw my best friend start running toward me but I just kept walking. I guess that I walked into her neighborhood and she saw me walking. She stopped me and turned me toward her and asked what was wrong. After I told her about my entire family dying in a car wreck, she hugged me. We sat there for a long time hold each other. I told her that I had nowhere to go. She said that if her parents were okay with it that I could stay with them. I said that I was okay but she took my hand and brought me to her house. We walked in and went up to her parents and she explained the situation. They said that they would let me stay there for as long as I needed to. I said thanks and just sat down staring at a wall. After about an hour of me staring at a wall, my friend came up to me and asked if I was hungry. I said that I wasn't hungry. I could tell she was worried about me. I was glad she was there for me though. I probably would have killed myself if she never stopped me earlier. I couldn't sleep at all that night. She came up to me and said that I needed to get some sleep. All I said was that I couldn't. She sat down beside me and put herself in my arms and said she loved me and she was going to help me through this. I told her I loved her to and she fell asleep in my arms. I still didn't sleep. After about a week I finally started to get back to normal. I ate a little more and got some sleep. I was fine until I heard on the news that the car wreck my family got in was a murder. They said the man had something against my family and was still out there. I was terrified.
