It was Valentines Day and Gumball held onto Marshall's arm as they walked. They were surrounded by other couples. "Ugh..why are we here again?" Marshall groaned with pure annoyance. He always hated seeing these fluffy disgusting couples. Even tho secretly he would act the same with his precious Gumball..
"Because you promised idiot!" Gumball pouted up at his lover. Marshall rolled his eyes and chuckled. He then groaned once again seeing all the couples. He saw Flame Prince and Fionna as well.
"Ugh couples..let's go to that cafe." Marshall suggested and Gumball shrugged nodding. They both walked inside hand in hand. They had a few stares but they both didn't care one bit! They took a table to sit at and Marshall smiled at his beautiful lover. "The usual sweetie?" Gumball nodded.
"Yes please~!" He giggled happily. Marshall lee nodded with a chuckle and went to get their drinks. Gumball looked at the window and blinked. There was a couple outside the cafe. The male went on one knee and opened a small blue box, inside was a beautiful ring. The woman gasps and nodded eagerly. She grinned ear to ear and wrapped her arms around his neck. He pushed in the ring slowly and kissed her lips softly. Some people inside the cafe clapped and cheered. Gumball smiled slightly and looked downward at his hands. He sighed.
"Something wrong Gum Gum?" Marshall lee asked, concerned. He sat down and passed him his cup of tea. It was sweet French Vanilla with a small amount of whip cream. Gumball blinked and quickly looked at him with a small smile.
"I'm done darling." He said with a small giggle. He took a sip of his sweet tea. "Mmmm my favorite." It wasn't really okay though. Gumball wanted to get married with Marshall lee. They have been together for 10 years now. He wasn't getting any older! Well he can't.. He is like 1000 years old. But he really did want to get married with the sexy vampire. Gumball loved him with all his heart. He wanted to be with him forever! He just hoped Marshall felt the same..
Marshall nodded. He was still a little concerned.

They finished their drinks and were now walking back to the Candy Kingdom. "Remember that tree?" Gumball pointed with a smile. Marshall nodded and chuckled.
"Yeah I remember. That's the tree we sat under at our first kiss." Marshall smiled and Gumball nodded. Marshall pulled him to the tree. It was dark out but there were light poles all over, it was bright enough for them to see each other.
"What are we going to do here?" Gumball asked tilting his head. Marshall smiled and they sat down on the grass. "The stars are beautiful huh?" He asked.
Marshall nodded and leaned in and pecked his forehead softly. "And you look extra cute." He teased.
Gumball blushed and giggled. Marshall lee then grabbed something from his back pocket. A red box. He went on one knee and smiled. "Prince Bubba Gumball..will you marry me?" He opened it and it reviled a small ring with a pink stone on the tip of it.
Gumball's eyes widened and he gasps. Tears of happiness formed and they steamed down his cheeks slowly. "Y-yes!" He shouted and wrapped his arms around him. He kissed him multiple times. On his forehead, both cheeks, chin, nose and then finally lips. Marshall chuckled and kissed him back. They pulled away slightly and Marshall slipped in the ring.
"I love you." He said gently.
"I love you too idiot!" He laughed happily.
