(Totally random picture that kinda goes with the chapter.)
-Kaida's POV-
"NOOOOOOO" I scream, turning my sword to get free from my fight with Drago, and started running towards them while throwing my hand out towards her and the guard. Before I realized what was happening, vines had sprouted from the ground, freed Amelia, wrapped themselves around the guard, causing him to drop his dagger, and throwing him against a tree in the process.
"Kaida? How...... how did you?" My mum stutters once I get over to them.
I was speechless once again, just like I had been two years ago when Alexa asked me if I was talking to 'Crystal'. I was about to muster out something when I heard Drago's deep, low laugh. And it's then I know I have made a HUGE mistake!
I stiffen, my eyes wide, full of realization of what I had just done. I turn around to see Drago slowly walking towards me. The fighting had come to a stop now and everyone was just watching to see what would happen next.
"I should have guessed it. You and the boy have the same eyes and he showed his powers immediately." Drago concluded.
"Ya! I guess you should have! Because before, I told myself that I wouldn't use my powers unless I had to, but now that everyone knows, there NOTHING holding me back." I say smirking.
After I finish, I push my hands out and let the fire element take control. Catching him by surprise, and at such a close distance, I hit Drago in the stomach and knocked him a good fifteen feet back!
"What in Thor's name was that!" I heard my dad shout.
Ignoring my dad, I walked calmly over to where Drago landed, to see him getting up, and rather quickly for the amount of energy that I used.
"Had enough yet?" I ask.
"Oh,I'm just getting started girl!" Drago says as he suddenly throws a dagger my way.
I see the dagger start to be thrown, and my reflexes kick in. I bend my knees and elbows, do a back handspring, push off the ground, and wrap my arms around myself while twisting in the air and landing firmly on the ground once I heard the dagger stick into the side of a hut.
I take out two of my daggers, the ones that are hidden on my arms, and the ones that are luckily made out of gronckle iron, and get ready for anything.
I look over and see that everyone is at a standstill, just watching Drago and I. The Berkians are looking at me in awe, and I can tell that my friends are determined to help whenever necessary. I quickly smile at them and focus my attention back on Drago, who now has his sword in hand and yelling a very loud and ear piercing battle cry.
My daggers do much better in battle against a sword than most would believe. I am able to block most of his attacks with them while dogging the rest. Once I have had enough of my daggers, I resorted to dogging attacks, and I used my powers to my advantage. I decided to use my 'earth' element to keep me above him by using a rock to stand on.
I had gotten so used to my powers that every time I used them I knew what color my eyes were changing into. I knew that 'earth' consisted of several things, so if I summoned things like vines or plants my eyes would turn a bright green, like my fathers. But if I summoned things like rocks and boulders, then my eyes would turn a dark brown.
