The man pulls me to my feet. It felt like he was gonna rip my arm off. His long, bony fingers slipped under my chin, raising my head to meet his dirty brown eyes. He stared at me until I looked away.
"Ah, whats wrong gal? Can't stare a man in the eye, eh? Well no need. Your eyes aren't what I want." He forcefully tore my jacket off. His chuckle rang in my ears for what felt like ages.
"Come with me missy." He pulls me over to his truck. I yelled but was soon cut of by the mans salty, sticky hands over my mouth.
James.... Medra....
LOOK OUT THE GOD DAMN WINDOW!
Are you guys idiots?! Do you not see me being dragged away by some creepy, old guy?! What the hell! His truck, only a few inches away. What do I do?! I knew what to do but I didnt want to do it. I had to bite his hand. His... old, boney, sticky, everything wrong hands...Ugh.
I open my mouth and bit down until the taste of blood rushed to my tongue. He let go of me with a yelp of pain in his voice while holding his hand, instead of me. He starts to chase me.
I run out of the parking lot out into a forest of trees nearby. I ran. Gasping for air and panting, I finally reach a huge patch of trees. I rush into the wood maze and trip on a branch. I praise God when I didn't land on my stomach but curse him for making my life miserable. I look behind me after running for minutes. Nobody was there. I stopped and fell to the ground with a sigh of relief.
My lungs filled with happiness when they finally got air back in them. I just lay on the floor for about ten minutes before sitting up.
I think im safe now. Maybe. What if he's still looking for me. Should I go back or go find another exit? What if I get lost though. That be bad. But do I wanna risk getting caught and probably get raped? Pfff hell nah. Im going to find a different way out of these woods.
I stand to my feet and walk the opposite way from which I came.
The trees drooped around me like giants, making me feel small and unsure.
I would randomly hear sounds hidden in the dark. I try to ignore the noises saying its just my imagination. But it didnt work.
What if some wild animal jumps out and eats me? Are there wolfs out here? What if-
My thoughts were cut off by a loud honk. It was a car alarm going of. That means there are people over there! They can help me get back home!
I start running through the trees, branches scratched my face, legs and arms. But I had to get to that car. Theres no way I would survive the night in a forest full of monsters.
Finally. I see a clearing of the trees in front of me. I rush over out of the woods and came to a stop at what I saw.
Theres a cottage surrounded by flower gardens and trees. There was smoke coming out of the chimny and birds were singing.
Am I dreaming? It looks like im part of a fairy tale story.
I see an older woman walk away from her car. That was the car that saved me from a hell of a forest.
The woman catches me staring at her. Her eyes widened as she walked towards me.
"Oh my. Are you okay? Your coverd in scratches." She lifts my arm to inspect how deep the cuts were. "What is your name girl?"
"Sophia." I say while I study the woman. Her hair was a nice black color. Her eyes shone bright blue which made me feel safe. She wore gardening gloves. Her blue jeans and black
T-shirt were covered in dirt.
