I was four and I didn't want to pick up my toy. My mom asked me about five times that day to pick up the toy. It was about noon and I had been messing around in my room for about an hour. I come out of my room and my mom set food on the table and said time to eat. I got up on the chair to eat and my mom sat down to eat also. We were eating macaroni and cheese.

My mom asks "Did you pick up your toy?", "Yes!". I said quietly. Right after we ate I ran to my room and shoved the toy under my bed.

My mom walked into my room and said "Thank you, sweety!" with big grin on her face. She walked out, no questions asked, that day on I knew I could get away with lying.
