You'll never make it Billie. You're just a worthless human being. You don't even deserve to live.Yes I do! I am worth something.
No you're not. No one cares about you.
Mike and Tre care about me. My mom cares about me. Adrienne cares about me. Stop lying to me!
I'm not lying Billie. Mike and Tre, they don't care. They're fed of your goddamn depressing life. Your mother is finally relieved that you left. And Adrienne. Your dear precious Adrienne. She's probably using you for fame and wealth.
No she's not! You're lying!
I'm not lying. If was then they would be here helping you recover. They would notice your despression.
They do care.
Nope Billie. They don't. You're here by yourself. You have the razors. You have the pills. You have the alcohol. Use them. They'll help.
And if they don't?
Billie. They will help. Just run the razor down your wrists. Make those cuts. That's right do it.
Billie grabbed the razor and made new cuts on his wrist. The blood covered his wrists and the floor. Billie's eyes were filled tears knowing that he had failed everyone. This was the day that Billie wasn't everything away from him. He wanted to be dead. He wanted to be with his father. He wanted to end the pain. He wanted to end his life.
Now take the pills Billie. Taken them all. It will take all the pain away.
Y-you promise?
I promise Billie. I'll never break a promise. Trust me. You're pain will go away. If you don't take them, you'll always be a failure.
Billie grabbed the pills that were besides him and he looked at them. He cried and he opened them. He didn't know how much to take but he took the whole bottle. Slowly his body started to feel numb. His vision became blurry and then his hearing started to fade away. All he could comprehend was shuffling, screaming, muffle voices, and cries. He felt his body getting picked up but just like that everything went black.
(Hospital)
Mike, Tre, and Adrienne were sitting in the waiting area. They were anxiously waiting for news on Billie. Adrienne was crying as she sat in the chair while Tre tried his best to comfort her. Mike was pacing around. He was so worried for his best friend. But he feels like he failed his best friend. He should've seen the signs.
After thirty minutes, Adrienne was asleep in the chair. Tre was at the window looking out and thinking. Mike was sitting down on the chair moving his knee. Mike stood up and slammed his chair against the wall that it woke up Adrienne and caught Mike's attention.
"What's wrong?" Adrienne asked. Mike shook his head and ran his hand through his hair.
"What's wrong? What's wrong? You clearly see what's wrong don't ya?!" Mike snapped. His voice was raising and he was shaking. Tre frowned and slowly approached him and Adrienne.
"Mike, you don't have to take it out her" Tre said. Mike shook his head.
"I'm not! I just can't! I fucking failed him as a friend! As a brother! We should've seen the goddamn signs! We should've payed more attention to his-" Mike couldn't finish. He broke down and he cried right there. Adrienne and Tre went up to him and they comforted him. After another thirty minutes, a doctor and a nurse came into the waiting room.
"Armstrong?" The Doctor said. Tre, Mike, and Adrienne quickly got up and walked up to the doctor and nurse.
"Is he okay?" Tre asked.
"We lost him a couple of times but he's fine for now. Mr. Armstrong lost a lot of blood from cutting wrists but we stopped the bleeding. He also overdosed on Ativan." the doctor said.
"Can we see him?" Mike asked. The doctor smiled and nodded his head.
"Oh one more thing, he's really lucky to have you guys. If he didn't, he probably wouldn't have make it off the table but now it's his turn to make the decision." the doctor said. The three frowned.
"He has to make the choice to wake up" the doctor said. "Room 320"
Mike, Tre, and Adrienne walked quickly to the room. Adrienne was the first to get there. When she opened the door, she found a pale broken human laying on a hospital bed. She went to Billie and she quickly grabbed his hand and cried. Mike and Tre walked in and they were shocked to see how broken Billie was. Billie had bandages around his wrists and a tube in his mouth.
Mike went up to Billie and he held his tears. "Beej, I know it's been hard for you. I can't imagine what you're going through. But what I do know, is that you're in pain. And I get that. I understand that you couldn't help the pain. But listen, we need you. Your mom, Adrienne, they need you. The band needs you. I need you. I need my best friend. I need my brother. So please, please wake up. We need you" Mike said.
The rest of the night was quiet. Adrienne felll asleep in the couch, Mike was sitting against the wall facing Billie and Tre was looking outside the window. The night was miserable. The anxiety and the shock was to much. It was to much to deal with. They didn't know if Billie would wake up. Hell they didn't even know if he was going to make it.
