                                              Sang

After my long and semi cold shower and a fairly silent breakfast (seriously I think I heard the guys talk once or twice the entire time) we were all heading to the Academy HQ. Apparently they had some work to do and were forcing me to come along, in all honesty though I didn't really mind, I would get to visit Uncle Phil and ask about my babies, not to mention check out some more on the Academy. I was riding with North, Silas and Luke in the jeep again, I was impatiently tapping my fingers against my leg, North wasn't driving SLOW but he wasn't exactly going fast either.

By the time I saw the Academy logo I was practically vibrating in my seat, Luke certainly was from his seat beside me in the back. The moment North pulled into a parking seat I was out of my seat-belt and jumping from the back of the opened jeep before he even turned the engine off. I took the steps two at a time as the guys called for me to wait, yeah that so wasn't happening. I breezed past the main desk lady and up the stairs, passing the office secretary on the way to my destination. Okay this place really needs to get some better security for being the 'organization' that it is, because what it has now won't cut it, they could really use some help.

I paused mid-step as I realized I had actually thought for a moment of providing some helpful tips to them, to maybe becoming a member. I had put off the intrigue at the idea of joining for so long, but now... I had to say the appeal of it all was hard to dismiss. I wasn't about to just give in however, this sudden realization was going to take some getting used to, and I would be personally going over the subject in my head before making any final decisions. I shook off a bit and continued towards my Uncle's office in a hurry, I didn't bother knocking as I entered the room in a rush.

"Sang!" he was sitting at his desk, looking down at papers but quickly stood at my entrance. "I didn't waste time as I wrapped him in a quick hug, then began the grilling for information. "How's the boys? Billy isn't stealing Duke's food is he, he tends to do it a lot and you have to watch and make sure Duke gets to eat too. Is Nuka doing okay, I know he gives you trouble and all, but he's okay, right?!" I rushed out, frowning as the old man chuckled back at me. "What are you laughing about old timer?" I growled out, he still hadn't answered my questions.

"Duke and Billy are fine, both eating well and they're happy to stay inside the place while I work, their giant couch potatoes if you let them be. Nuka however... wellll." Oh, no I knew something wasn't right, my baby better be okay otherwise, uncle or not Phil was going to be in a great deal of pain. "What do you mean wellll?!" I hissed out as the guys finally catching up rushed in behind me, apologizing for any interruptions I may have caused. The stupid fools thought it wasn't natural for me and Phil to be so relaxed right now, so I chose to ignore them and Phil seeing this did exactly the same.

"Why don't you see for yourself." Phil stated as he bent behind his way to big desk, I heard what sounded suspiciously like a cage door squeak and a soft whine, then a grayish and brown ball of fur came bouncing out from behind the desk. "NUKA!!!" I squealed, kneeling just in time for him to full on tackle me, bouncing, whining, wagging, and giving lots of kisses. "There's my baby boy! Oh, I've missed you sooo much. I love you. I love you. I love you." I cooed to him, kissing his nose at each 'I love you'. "That is one lucky f***ing mutt." Gabe mumbled behind me, but I still heard him loud and clear.

"He's healing fine and all, but he seems to have some separation issues. He whines, pouts, refuses to eat his food, and he won't let me leave him at home, always finds away to get out and follow me wherever I go." Phil huffed out, well that's Nuka for you. "My clever boy, aren't you, but you have to eat." I murmured as I scratched his ears while he gave a wolfy grin and started to croon at me. "Do you have any food here?" I sent the question to Phil and he gave me a dish full. I stood asked Nuka to sit and wait as I placed the bowl in front of him, he obediently obeyed.

"Eat." the command I gave was short and sweet as I pointed to the bowl and Nuka pounced on the food, wolfing it down so to speak. The guys and Phil all gaped at me as I shrugged, my boy knew who he took orders from. "How did you do that?" Phil puffed out, I think I wounded his man pride at doing something he couldn't, getting Nuka to eat. "Eh, sometimes it just takes a woman's touch. Also the sit and wait thing is part of his feeding routine, he is very respectful of them." I answered with a slight smile. Nuka licked the dish clean in less than 3 minutes and then came over and sat dutifully at my side while I scratched his ears happily.

"Well then, you guys have work to do, so I'm going to go check out the building a little more. And don't worry, I'm taking Nuka with me, I'll be fine." I stated, cutting them off before they could object, Nuka sent a growl their way and I patted his head in praise. The more tough and scary he looks for the moment, the less chance of having one of the guys trying to spy on me. Finally the guys let up and I was allowed to go explore the building with Nuka, it was so great to have my wolf-dog back at my side again. I was enjoying the sights when Nuka gave a soft whine at my side, guess after eating all that food he needed a bathroom break.

"Okay boy, come on, lets go outside." I said as I lead the way down the stairs and out the Academy doors, over to a shaded and grassy spot as Nuka went to the bathroom. I was playing a game on my phone while I waited for Nuka to come back from his adventure behind the building, when a familiar unwanted van pulled up. I reached a hand for my blade and winced as I realized I didn't have Slou on me, I had forgotten her on the bathroom sink, how had I forgotten, that so wasn't like me?!

I was so focused on the van in front of me that I failed to notice the footsteps behind me until it was to late. An arm came around my neck as a hand pressed a cloth doused in something I assume was chloroform to my nose and mouth. I tried not to inhale as I did my best fighting back unarmed and caught off guard, but a sharp pain in my side had me unwillingly gasping in the fumes. I felt dizzy but I gave one last hard kick and broke away from whoever was holding me, falling to the ground with my phone hidden under my shirt as I blindly brought up the guys app.

I had committed it to mussel memory in case of situations like this one, the hand came around and pressed the cloth into my face again and I couldn't help but pant from the burning pain in my side. I fought off the darkness for as long as I could but it was a losing battle, I wasn't going to be awake much longer, they were going to take me. "We got you now Song Bird." Rocky's voice whispered into my ear as I hit what I hoped was the red-line, then everything finally went dark.
