You had a rush of relief as soon as the stubborn customer left the store, it felt unexpected. It felt so weird to stress so hard on someone, to the point where you feel like stabbing them and screaming because of their attitude. If only you found a way to overcome your anger management...
In fact, you didn't exactly know why you applied for Starbucks if you knew people would make your face boil up in anger. Maybe it was because of your friend, Amy, who convinced you. It was funny, I guess.
Amy quit as soon as you joined. Coincidentally, I know. She got fired for skipping 3 shifts in a row.
This time, you were handling the place with only 2 other people.
Simone, and Caleb. Simone the trans was well experienced, yet hardly worked and always slacked. Caleb, however, was clumsy and seemed to mess up most of the orders. Caleb had messy freckles with brown hair. The brown was extremely light, and went well with his bushy eyebrows and thin lips. He looked ok, but not handsome. (#RIPCaleb)
Simone, on the other hand, looked dope and serious. Although, you found it hard to realise that he was once a girl.
You were in the middle of deciding who you preferred out of the two, when the door creaked open as the bell rang. It was another customer, but this time with dyed white hair and a miserable-looking smile.
He stood there, deciding. You got struck with sudden boredom, so you decided to investigate.

Suddenly, Caleb pats your shoulder. You turn around with a weak, yet enthusiastic smile. "Yes?" "I'll take your spot. Your shifts are over."
With that said, he pulled out a prideful, crooked smile, showing his loose tooth clearly.
Without any word, you rushed and grabbed your bag- smiling in delight. There were 2 things that set you in a cheery mood. Firstly, leaving work. Secondly... that..— man.
You headed out.
