Chapter 109:

Vikki turned to me grabbing my shoulder's.
"You need to get Hope and Vanessa and leave, do you understand -

"I'm not leaving you." I warned staring at her .

She sighed taking her attention back to the strange monsters that was lurking at our woods.

"Melissa. I'm not asking, I'm saying get them girls and leave.." she told me .

I started tearing up as I looked at her than the monsters.
She turned my head to face her as I stared at her eyes.

"Melissa please, Your human and I know you hate that word but you are and if you get hurt .. it'll kill me." She kissed my forehead as she looked down into my eyes.

I held back my crying as I didn't argue with her.
"Fine.. I'll head to Alex's.. "

"I'll come get you when this is over ." She whispered pulling away from me.
She dropped my hand as I turned and ran into the house into the back.

I ran into the infirmary as Vanessa held hope close to her, her eyes met mine as Violet stood up.

"Violet get Kat and come with us, it's not safe here-

"Take Kat.. I need to stay-

"Momma no.." Kat whined at her adopted mother .

"I need to stay here, they need me. Plus I'm the only healer here." She told Kat who just sat there and cried .

"I'll be taking them to Alex's. we'll be safe and I'll send backup.. please keep us updated don't block us out ." I told her .

Vanessa went and took her best friends hand as i took sleeping Hope in my arms.
Violet nodded at me as she hugged her daughter than took off.

"So they are here.." Vanessa said.

I nodded my head once grabbing some first aid as we went up the stairs grabbing the baby bag, diapers, blankets , medicine and bottles. This should hold her over till the morning .

Loud growls made us turn our heads as we listened to the battle beginning outside the house .
"Lets go, sneak out the back." I told the girls as they nodded and headed out the rooms and down the stairs. Other women and children followed with us to safety.. this isn't a fight matter that we hid in the cells.. these were creatures that would kill us without taking us hostage.

"Keep straight and don't da behind . " I told them.

"Yes luna." They whispered as they took off into the woods.

"Go ." I told the girls .

They held hands and ran in front of us, I snuggled Hope to my chest wrapped in blankets as she was sleeping still. Violet said she was fine but needed her rest.
I slowly walked along the woods holding my self because I wanted to run back.. the growls and the hurtful yelps made me want to stop dead in my tracks .. but I couldn't . I was leaving behind my Wife and Son to fight off monster's .. not just them, but my pack.

Vanessa and Kat stayed with us a few feet in front .
"Will they be okay."

I smiled softly.
"Your momma is a tough cookie .. she will be fine-

"I'm talking about our home." Vanessa said stopping to look at me.

I looked at her carefully .

"I know.. I might seem crazy but I know what they can do.. there dangerous, whatever they are.. they mean harm." She told me .

I placed my forehead against her's as she relaxed against my touch.
"She won't let anything happen.. neither will I ." I told her .

She softly nodded at me as we continued our walk.

We arrived at Alex's as he stood our front letting the women and children into our home. He spotted me and walked over with Lucia. She came over and hugged me.

"You okay." She asked .

"Alex we need help, these creatures..-

"I know, I was just waiting for you to tell Vikki your here. We're gonna get going. Lucia lock the pack house down and watch over everyone ." He said .

She nodded as they kissed.

He took off with his male members into the woods as they shifted.

Lucia guided us into the house as she shut the door locking it setting an alarm.

I spotted Amy and Sarah among the females as they nodded to me they were ok.

Lucia came close to me.
"What do you think they want."

"I couldn't tell you.. if Vanessa didn't warn us, we would of been gone. " I whispered to her as I looked over at my daughter sitting down.

"Such a strong Banshee ." She said eyeing her as well.

"Strong.. but she doesn't understand it , I'm scared for her." I told her .

She rubbed my shoulder's.
"She is strong, like you. She can handle it . Just look after her is all you can do."

"I know . Now that I'm part human..-

"How does that work? You still have your wolf instincts."

"My wolf is there only when it comes to my kids.. protecting them." I said .

"There your wolf's pups ."she smiled at me.

"To me they aren't pups anymore."

Vanessa looked over at me and smiled softly as she went back to talking to some girls.

Lucia froze lightly than looked at me.
"Alex just got there.. he didn't say much as he blocked me out ."

"Vanessa, Kat. Anyone can you get ahold of the pack?" I asked the females.

They looked at one another as I looked to my daughter.
"They blocked us off any communication .. " Kat said.

I balled my fist .
Vikki's doing .

I nodded my head.
I handed her the baby as I walked with Lucia to the kitchen to make some tea for everyone .

"Don't worry.. I can get into Alex's head, basically my wolf talks to his and tells me what's going on." She told me pouring water.

"Those creatures .. they came out of no where . " I told her grabbing tea bags.

"It is odd.."

"Very." I sighed .

We were quiet as we could hear the girls talking quietly in the other room.
"Don't worry things will get better."

I softly laughed to my self, because her words were truly wrong .
