Chapter One

"Mother I don't want to move. My whole life is here in Indiana. I have all my friends here. I'm cheer captain. I'm top of my class in a academics. I'm going to lose everything I've spent my whole life working on."

"Annie, you're going to start highschool next year. There will be a lot of new people. You won't be alone. Everything you do here you can do in North Carolina. I understand you're scared. But you're beautiful, funny, and outgoing. You'll find friends. Now please get packing."

I'm not ready. I'm so scared. I'm 13 almost 14 years old. I'm not ready to move and face highschool in another state not knowing anyone.

"MOM! Mother! WHY ARE YOU IGNORING ME!!" I called for my mom which i thought she was down stairs. I started to make my way down stairs when I heard some car pull up to my drive way. I looked out side. It was the moving truck. This is happening to fast.

I ran outside and told my mom that I'm all packed up everything's in the boxes in my room.

I'm going to admit it. We have money My step dad works for the government so I'm sure you can guess that we get a lot.(random i know)

We did only get the truck but we hired 8 guys to move all of our stuff into the truck. Which I'm really happy about because I'm too lazy to do that. Lol.

I was walking back up to my room to get in the shower when I felt my phone buzz.

hey Annie, can you come over for a few hours. We need too hang out before you leave tomorrow"

She lives a block from me. We go to eachothers house everyday so it's going to be tough without her.

Yes, let me take a quick shower then I'll be over.

I threw my hair up in the wet bun and went to grab the clothes off my bed. I had two different outfits on the bed and Pjs for tonight. It's summer so I decided to wear my white shorts, pink "just do it" tank too, and white nike elite sock with pink, and pink vans. I have a different kind of style.

I blow dried my long brown hair. After I was done blow drying I straitened it. And put it in a cute side fishtail. I put my normal make up on.. Foundation and mascara. I brushed my teeth then put on my glasses. They aren't like dorky glasses. They are actually kinda cute. They make me look older too. I'm ready now.

"Bye mom, I'm going over to Kelsy's for alittle bit."

"Bye sweetheart, love you"

"Love you too!"

I'm on my way over.

After I walked a block, only like 5 min I was at Kelsy's house. It was dark inside. But I knew her parents weren't home. And normally when her parents aren't home she keeps the lights off, so I wasn't confused. Kels and I are such best friends that I didn't even bother to knock. I walked in..

"OH MY GOODNESS" I screamed.
