Chapter 9///Confused

Liza POV:

Lunch Table

Gabbie: Alright let me get this straight...

I told Gabbie everything that happened yesterday with David and me because well... she's my best friend and for some reason, she was a little confused.

Gabbie: You both like each other but you're not dating?

Liza: Uhhh yeah pretty much.

Gabbie: OMG that is insane just get together already.

Liza: No no no we can't, it would like ruin our friendship completely.

Gabbie: LIZA who cares! At the end of the day, he's just a silly boy!

Liza: He is much more than a silly boy.

Gabbie: Honey, that's what you'll say about them all until they break your heart. Trust me I would know.

I just rolled my eyes. I know I don't know much about boys and relationships but I do know David's different than the fboys Gabbie has dated.

Gabbie: Speaking of silly boys here come some now.

I turned my head around to see David and Zane walking towards our lunch table. I haven't really talked to David since he told me he liked me.

David POV:

Zane and I walked to the cafeteria together when we saw Gabbie and Liza sitting together. Zane kinda has a thing for Gabbie and obviously, I like Liza so it was perfect.

Zane: Sup Chicas!

David: Hey guys!

Liza & Gabbie: Hey Zane....David.

I took a seat next to Liza and Zane did the same with Gabbie.

Gabbie: Omg I have to tell you all about what happened with my neighbor yesterday. So I came home through the back door like I do every day and I see him just watering his plants.......

Gabbie kept telling her story but I kinda zoned out and decided to tease Liza a little bit because why not! I already know she likes me so I wanted to have a little fun!

I took my hand and placed it on her knee. I glanced at her real quick but she didn't even budge. So I moved it a little bit higher. Still nothing. I squeezed her thigh a little. She looked at me real quick giving me a stern face. She was trying really hard to pay attention to Gabbie so they didn't know what we were doing. I put my hand higher and higher kinda testing her limits. She started breathing faster almost shuddering. Then out of nowhere she just grabbed my hand and held it so I would stop. I let out a little chuckle.

Gabbie: David stop flirting with Liza and listen to my story. Anyways when I looked out the window he was literally staring at me....

After Gabbie said that my face got really red but I was holding hands with Liza so I can't really complain.

Liza POV

There is no way I'm going to let David pull that little stunt at lunch and not get him back. So I made sure to catch up with him at his locker.

Liza: Hey Baby

David turned around with a flustered look on his face.

David: Hi Liza

I put my fingers in his hair fluffing it around a bit.

Liza: I just wanted to say you look really cute today.

I said taking a step closer to him forcing him to back into the lockers so he wouldn't move.

David: Uh..um...th-th-thank..y-you

David was shuddering so much I could tell I was getting to him. I took another step toward him so we were now pushed up against each other.

I then leaned in really close to him so our lips were almost touching. He bit his lip and we looked into each other's eyes. I almost cracked and kissed him but I mean I have to teach him a lesson somehow.

Liza: No problem baby.

Then I moved away quickly making us both snap back into reality.

Liza: See you later

I said giving a little wink at the end. He just looked confused about everything that just happened which was my goal. I ran away quickly to my next class.

David POV:

I don't even know what just happened but damn that girl has me wrapped around her little finger.
