You sat on the porch of your small country home. The wind around you whispered different stories to you as you watched the approaching storm. The soft yet strong boom of thunder made your house shutter. You smiled to yourself as the calming smell of wet soil settled into the surface around you. Your sense peaked as you saw the small, but agonizingly terrifying wip of the waves. Your house, being on the very top of a not so tall cliff got to see the wondrous beauty of the never ending ocean. You stood from the small porch, watching the storm still, and backed your way into your small comfortable home. Closing the door behind you, you walked over to the stove and ignited a small flame that would be enough to warm up your meal for the night. You set the small pan down the flame and put the fish that you had caught, skinned, and breaded not to long ago onto the pan. You watched as the fish cooked, but that feeling never left you. The feeling of being- Watched. It was overwhelming to feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, and feel the fear creep onto your petite body.

The small rumble of thunder took you out of your dazed and frightening thoughts. You looked back down at the fish, and flipped it with the spatula that you had fished for in the cabinets. The smell of breaded fish hit you like a wave of beautiful roses and calmed your mind. Once it had finished cooking you took it out of the pan, careful not to burn yourself, and put it on a beautiful China plate. You turned off the stove and walked to your small wooden table that was already set up for the evening. A cup of water sat on the table, prepared for you to take a whisk from it.

You set your plate down carefully and sat youself down on the head of the small table. The side you sat on faced the glass Windows that seemed to replace your wall. You took a glance outside, but regretted it as you saw red eyes streak across your window and disappear. You gulped and held back a scream as you struggled to tell yourself that it was all a illusion.

A few minutes later filled with fear, and the taste of delicious fish, you sat on your bed in a beautiful night gown that flowed to your ankles. You brushed your hair to perfection and set it on the beautifully carved night stand. You pulled the covers over your body and settled into bed as you turned off your bed side lamp that illuminated almost all your room. The days events came back to you, especially the red eyes incident which seemed to scare away the feeling of sleep. You sat up in bed, looking out the window that was to your left. You stared at the lightning that struck down on the hard earth below that seemed to not calm the growing fear. The rumbles of the thunder seemed soothing to you though. As your mind and body relaxed from it's tense position, you lyed back down, closing your eyes. Soon sleep fell over you.
