My name is Mira, just Mira. It's the only name that I've ever had, when I was 5 I was found in an abandoned warehouse with no memory of my life before. Just a single word Mira, the people who found me just assumed that was my name. From there I was taken to some hospital, everyone one looked tired there, lost and dead inside. I felt alien here, they told me that this place will help me remember and left me there. I was there for 3 days and I remember all of the white walls, the pills and lots of machines. I was hooked up to them, beeping and pictures and puzzled faces. When i was released there was a tall skinny red haired lady waiting for me. The doctors whispered something and she nodded her head and frowned. When I was 7 a man came to see me at that orphanage that I was placed in. He wanted to adopt me, he smelt like beer and cigarettes. I refused but it wasn't up to me so I had no choice but to go with him, turns out someone had paid him. There were two mysterious men waiting outside, as soon as I came into view I was grabbed and chucked into the back of a van and taken to a very prestigious mansion with security everywhere. I stayed here for a year, getting tested in every way possible to figure out what was wrong with me. News had spread far about my condition and there was a race to solve the puzzle worth millions. They gave up trying and threw me on the streets. I spent 2 years on the street becoming a master of slight of hand and deception before I was picked up from the police and thrown into another orphanage, I was 10 at this point and all hopes of getting adopted were getting thin. I got into a lot of arguments with the other people here. My life was changed when Victoria came into my life, she wasn't too tall but not short either, her hair was hazel brown and long. Her eyes were a deep blue, so blue you get trapped in them. She told me she had heard about me and I thought 'great here we go again' She took me home, gave me a roof over my head, clothes, a bedroom with my own bed and lots of food. Here I am 7 years later with a mother who loves me for who I am.
