Chapter 4

When we got to the hotel it was decided we'd all share a suite(it was cheaper than two bed rooms), since we had only cash because Adrian could track the credit card he gave me.

The suite had 2beds and a fold out couch, a kitchen, two bathrooms and a living room. The room was very nice indeed, but left the bed situation to speculation.

" I'll sleep on the floor" Dimitri volunteered.

"Yeah, we'll give you ladies the beds" this time Christian spoke, smiling a sly smile at Lissa.

"Sexist much?"

"Yeah, I agree with Mia." we both looked at each other and smiled. Our friendship has gone such a long way compared to a year ago.

Dimitri rolled his eyes

"Rose is this really the time?" I ignored his attitude.

"I think the guardians should sleep on the floor"

"I'm fine with floor"

"we know you are Christain" I replied dryly. He glared at me but stayed quiet.

"Fine" said Dimitri, tone clearly irritated.

"You can stay with Lissa, Eddie with Mia and Ill stay with Christian. Is that good with everyone?" he said it to everyone but stared at me alone.

"Yup," we said in unison.

"What now Rose?" it as Eddie who spoke.

"Now we call my old man, he'll know what to do."

"Wait, who?" I should of known Dimitri didn't know who my dad was, he was 'gone' when I found out.

"Abe Mazur"

"What?"

"Yeah, he's my old man.Cant you see the resemblance?" I smiled at Dimirtri and laughed when I saw the look on his face

"I was just as surprised." Dimitri just nodded and walked away to sit on the couch. I walked over to the phone and everyone starred. I suddenly relized I didn't have Abe 's number, but I did have Sydneys. I called her up and left her a message to call me back at this number as soon as possible.

"Well I'm starving."

"Me too," whispers Lissa.

"I'll go out and look for some food, be back in an hour."

"You can't go a alone."

"Liss I'll be fine. I'm a guardian now rember?"

"I still think you should go with someone."

"I'll go with her," I turned my head to look at Eddie and smiled.

"I think Dimitri should go with her," I turned to Lissa and tried to signal silently that it was a bad idea. With my mixed emotions about Adrian I felt bad, and knew Dimitri would ask why I was so upset.

"I don't mind" damn Lissa; off Dimitri and I go.
