Luna watched the sun come up as she stared out of her bedroom window. Sleep had evaded her last night. Sighing softly, she felt guilt overcome her. After they had gotten home yesterday, Luna had locked herself in her room. Liz and Andy had to stop the boys from trying to get her to come out. Liz's voice had sounded so upset and broken.

"I'll just have to make it up to her today. . Staying away from everyone isn't going to help me." Luna spoke softly to herself as she began to move around her room getting dressed. She dressed comfortably, but in a way that she was ready to do anything should the need arise.

As she made her way downstairs she heard Liz's voice coming from the kitchen,

"Do you think she'll come out today? I don't like the idea of her locking herself away." The worry in her tone made guilt wash over Luna once more.

"We'll just have to wait and see. That's all we really can do. We can't push her; Lu is a strong girl, just remember that."

"I know that, I just don't want to let Linda and James down."

Luna stepped through the door causing Liz and Andy to stare at her in surprise.

"You won't let them down, mumma Liz. I promise. I'm sorry about yesterday, I just really wanted to be alone. I didn't mean to worry you so much." Liz came over and wrapped up tightly in her arms.

"I understand, Lu. Do you want some breakfast?"

"Breakfast sounds great."

"Pancakes?"

"Can we do waffles today?" Liz shot her a smile as she began to move about the kitchen.

"Coming right up." Andy cleaned his coffee cup out in the sink, and kissed Liz's cheek.

"It's time for me to go start talking to the realtor's. I'll see you later tonight."

"Just call if they have any questions."

"Will do," Andy ruffled Luna's hair and kissed the top of her head, "I'll see you later kiddo."

"See you, and thank you." She gave him a small smile as he left. Luna played around on her phone, Liz checking her over every now and then.

"Where's Luke?"

"The boys all stayed at Calum's last night."

"Oh. What are your plans for today?"

"Today, I was thinking of going shopping for some things for the house. Would you like to go with me? We just need to hit the servo first to fill up."

"Shopping sounds great." Liz sat a couple of waffles about the size of Luna's head in front of her.

"Eat up then, and I'll go get changed."

Luna dug into her food, famished after not eating at all yesterday. Those waffles never stood a chance. She scrolled through her twitter feed, liking several posts. Luke had tweeted out a couple of sad faced emojis, which brought a slight frown to her face. Did she cause those with being so closed off yesterday? She quickly replied to his tweet trying to show him some love and convey that she was sorry. Taking the last bite of waffle, she moved her plate to the sink as Liz walked back in the kitchen.

"You ready?"

"Yup, let's go." Luna followed the older woman outside listening to her chatter.

"Is there anything we need to get for your room? Anything you need at all actually? Clothes? Shoes?"

"I think all I need is a new desk lamp. The boys accidentally broke my old one when we were moving things over."

"No problem, we will get you one. I've been thinking of getting some new pillows for mine and Andy's room so we can go to the furniture outlet before we get groceries."
