KAIA THOMMEN was a vivacious girl of smiles and laughter that could lighten up the days of anyone around her. She was bubbly and sweet to anyone she'd come across and for that she was loved around 'the town with pep.' During her freshmen year she had been urged by her good friend Kevin Keller to become a cheer leader alongside Riverdale's beloved, Cheryl Blossom. She prided herself on focusing all her attention to her classes and her extra curriculars but that was until Archie Andrews stepped into the picture.
The relationship between the two had been admired by all their surrounding peers. The two were in love and Kaia soon began to believe that things would maintain that way, but she was mistaken. The Andrew's boy had dumped her around the summer before their upcoming sophomore year and she had taken it rigorously but was left heartbroken. She continued to be the altruistic girl she'd always been but a part of her was left bare.
REGGIE MANTLE was ill-mannered and brash when it came to communicating with his peers who weren't on the football team or of the opposite gender. The jock was stunned by the break-up of Riverdale's it couple but he found himself opened to the notion that the Thommen's girl deserved someone better than Archie Andrews, but Kaia was certain that Reggie wasn't what she needed.
