Sydney's POV:
When I wake up in the morning I think of what today is... Moving day:( . Why do I out of all the people in the world have to move all the way across the country! All the way from Georgia to California. Do you not know how far that is me leaving my school and my friends! Why did my Mom have to get a promotion.
"SYDNEY & GRANT!!" My mom yells from down stairs.
Oh yeah forgot to tell you I have an other brother named Grant he is 18 while I am 17 but he can act way to bossy around me since our dad left. He fells the need to protect me 24/7. And let me tell you it's annoying real annoying.
"WHAT!" We both are at the top of the stairs now.
" THE MOVERS WILL BE HERE ANYTIME KNOW GET UP AMD GET DRESSED OUR FLIGHT LEAVES IN 2 HOURS." She yells back
"Okay" we both are looking at each other.
"Are you ready for a new school and everything?" Grant ask me as we both walk into my room.
"Not really but you know life is full of risk, at least we are doing this together." I say. He smiles at me. I smile back and he walks off.
I do have to admit to was scared...
----- arriving in California-------
We get our bags and hop into the taxi. Off we go to my new home. As we drive up to the house and I see 2 really hot boys playing basketball next to our house I guess I may start to like California.
"Sydney..?" Grant said to me waving his hand in front of my face. I snap out of my day dream.
"Oh sorry. What?"
" I am going to go introduce myself to those to guys you are eyeballing over there. You want to come?"
"Uh sure.. I guess" we both open the door to the car. As I step out the sun hits my kind blonde hair, I squint in the sun as it hits my blue/green eyes and the sun hits my tan skin.
As we walk over there I see both of them staring at my brother. I am walking behind him so I guess they don't see me but when they do both of their mouths drop open. I thought I looked bad or they thought I looked bad but I couldn't tell.
My brother speaks "Hey I am Grant and this is my sister Sydney." He nudges my shoulder.
"Oh, hi..." I say. To be continued...
