As she was running down the stairs she heard another gun fired
Jacob, her husband was running around wildly... Not knowing what to do... He searched everywhere for his gun... Where had he put it. He had to find it... What had Audrey done with it. And why would have she kept it a secret.. He ran to their room where he always kept his extra pistol under the floor boards under neath his side of the bed... He grabbed it just in time.

"Open up or I will start shooting through the door."
Jacob made sure his gun was loaded and he slowly opened the door. He was able to peer through the window and saw there were only two men...

Jacob waited a minute before he made any sudden movements he slowly shut the door and locked it again.. As soon as he could he ran downstairs. Still panicking, trying to stay calm even though he had just killed a man
"Hey, Audrey! It's me Jacob! I think we're safe! .. For now. Stuff the baby's mouth so she can't make any noise"
"What happened up there Jacob is that blood on you..?"
