The hint

It was another day at the nightmare camp, as max deacribes it, and all he wants is to sleep in. Of course he can't because david wont shut up about activities. All max does is go outside and sits in dirt and relaxes. Then he hears nikki and hes already aggravated.
Nikki runs over next to max, neil following and plops down beside him.
"Hiiiii maxwell" nikki says in a low voice trying not to anger him. Which she failed at. Max just closes his eyes.
"Uh. Max? Are you doing okay?"neil says kind of worried.
"Yup, im great. Isn't it obvious?" max replies opening his eyes at him.
Nikki gets up then, "if you're great them come explore with us!" she says playing with his hair. Max doesnt even care at the moment so he lets her do that. We all know he would get mad as hell.
"Okay max. Im a little worried-" "aren't you always?" max cuts him off and nikki giggles.
"Shut up. Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yes im fine."
Neil looks at max with and 'im not stupid' look than says, "max. Your letting nikki play with your hair."
Max looks up at nikki then back down. "I dont fuvking care neil. Im tired and i dont wanna hear davids fuvking voice telling me to wake up. I get enough of that shit everyday."
Nikki and neil look at each other and nikki stops playing in his hair. She sits down in front of him and pinches his cheecks. "Are you sure swearing lil baby? You dont look okay and You seem upset."
Max slaps nikkie's hand to stop her from pinching his cheecks. He blushes lighting not enough for them to see and says, "im. Fine."
Nikki grabs his hand and pulls him up and runs with neil following. Max blushes once more but slightly. They run into the woods and nikki starts climbing trees. Max is really mad but doesnt show it. He's too 'tired'. And the rest of the day nikki is pulling max and continues to mess around.
