Prologue
"You sure you gonna be a'ight Vee? You can always come back to my place, Leo wont mind." Veenah's bestfriend Tiffany questions her as she stops the car in front of the apartment building where Veenah lives, she can tell that her friend feels uneasy as shes watching her stare out window, placing her eyes to the dark sky, looking hesitant to even get out of the car.
"I talked to his mother and she said that he shouldn't be here plus the locks are changed now....so I-I'll be okay.
Tiffany inhales, feeling deeply for her friend, she feels like it's a shame that she cant be fully comfortable in her own home. "Well girl if you need to call me....and I'll cut his ass."
They both share a cackle and Veensh reaches over and grabs her overnight bag from the backseat. "I'll be fine Tiff, you becareful driving home."
"Alright girl, love you."
"Love you too." Veenah removes her self from the car and heads to the entrance of her apartment and unlock the main door, she takes a deep breath before walking up the stairs, glad to be home but still having high hopes that her ex fiancée Eli of six months won't pop up, they are suppose to be separated and starting over, cause they have a few issues and differences that must be settled, but after last week Veenah changed her mind after Eli hit her again, something he promised he never do again six months ago when he engaged, he left her with a black eye and busted lip, so she called the police and went to go stay with her friend Tiffany, giving time for the restraining order she put out againts him to be fully effective. She makes it to her door and unlocks it, once it's open, she's suddenly pushed on the ground, falling in the middle of her doorway. "Eli!" She didn't have to turn around to know it was him.
"Yes baby it's me." The door slams and he locks it, she looks at him and is shocked to see him hovering over with a gun, her heart reacts before her body can.
"Help! Help, he's tryna kill me!"
"Shut up bitch." He punches her in face, knocking her unconscious.

Veenah wakes up to bright light shining againts her face, she looks up to be met by her rectangle chandelier that's hanging from the ceiling of her dining room, she tries to move but the rope that's tied around her body and feet is tight and every time she budges she feels pain in her chest and arms, she has no good view since she can't move, all she can see is the walls surrounding her.
Inseparable by Natalie Cole is playing and she smells strong essential oils. "El—" she tries to scream but realize that duck tape is on her mouth so she just make the noise that she can, and shake her self making the table make a noise.
"Cut that out baby, you know we have neighbors, we don't want to make them think we're a freaky couple." Eli chuckles, carrying a bucket into the room and putting it on the table, he looks at Veenah with a smile and grabs a knife a set out earlier and stab her in the thigh causing a loud muffled scream, tears streams from her cheeks, he pulls it out while grunting.
"That's for neglecting me for a week."
He pulls the tape from her mouth and stare into her eyes. "Don't scream or I'll kill you, you can cry all you want... just don't be too loud."
She sobs and stares into his eyes as her mouth is trembling. "W-w-w-w-why are you doing this?"
"Because Veenah, I'm tired of living this lie with you." He snickers. "It's been 6 months and I thought you could change and be the woman I always wanted.... But your just like the rest, selfish... dumb and don't know how to submit to your man. Besides, I don't deserve that! I don't deserve to walked out on...your not gonna end it all squeaky clean... no because I put too much time and energy in this shit!"
"Well maybe if you weren't crazy, I wouldn't have--- I-I" He runs up on her point the knife toward her eye, making her stop out of fear.
"Say it and I swear I will gauge your fucking eye out. I really wanted us to be perfect but you had to tick me off and act like a whore just like the others." Eli begins to cry hysterically. "How do you think that fucking makes me feel Veenah huh."
"I'm sorry Eli! Okay! Please just... just calm down, none of this worth it."
"Oh now your telling me what do?"
"N-n-no Eli I just want you to calm down."
"Oh so you the grown ass man in the situation now? Okay, you wanna get smart."
He places the tape back on her mouth, and repeatedly stab her in both of her legs in a swift movement, allowing all of his anger to get the best of him and Daveenah's muffled screams get louder, the pain is unbearable and she just wished it was over, she's is confused in the midst of it all, because Eli has some done a lot of crazy of things but she never dreamed it would get this extreme.
"I hate you, you dumb bitch! You neglectful ass whore! You're the reason I'm at this point."
Veenah cries, her pupils are latterly drowning with her tears. Eli goes in another room and slam the door behind him, and pace back and forth with his eyes watery but he refuses to shed another tear. "This bitch has me fucked up... you don't deserve this shit man."
Meanwhile, fifteen Veenah is still on the table crying her eyes out, listening to Inseparable that has been on repeat since she woke up, Eli comes out of the room carrying a bucket. singing the loudly, and with so much pride.

This frightens Veenah, because the lyrics touch her in many ways. She doesn't understand we're her and Eli went wrong and she believes it's her fault that they go to this point ,Eli sets the bucket down beside one of the dining room cheers and grabs a black trash bag from her kitchen and cuts the rope off of her, and avoid eye contact while doing so.
"It's crazy Veenah, because I loved you but you decided to play with my heart... I'm not the nigga to toy with."
"I was going to use a bag but Fuck it." He pushes her down to the grown and she falls flat on her side, he lifts her up and shows her the bucket that she filled with nothing but alcohol and bleach, he tries to force her head down but Veenah resist and screams, but he force her head in the substance, leaving her under there for 30 seconds at time, watching her squirm and waiting for her to take her last breath.
Veenah can't takes the chemical, it burns her eyes making it impossible for her to even open them and see and her throat begins to close up, Eli sheds a tear once she stops moving , then rises up and look at her lifeless body, he feels bad for what he has done but felt it was all worth it, for he shouldn't be toyed with. He snaps out of it and begin to clean up the evidence.
