Who am I?

Chapter 4

Today is the third day of me being here, It's also the first day of training. I'm a bit scared to get beat up but I don't have a choice, I'm also kinda looking forward to it.

"Morning" I said to Amber and her boyfriend, Andrew.

"Morning Laurin." Said both of them.

We smiled at each other. Me and Amber walked together to the shower.

"So, how did you sleep last night?" I said.

"It was fine, I didn't had any dream last night." She said.

"Also, Are you looking forward to today training?" I said.

"I am but I'm a bit scared. They take their training very seriously and we aren't allowed to joke around about it." She said.

After we got ready I followed her to our first training, Boxing. I looked around the place, there were about 12 people including us. I'm guessing this means 6 matches today.

"Well, This is the first one. I'm not looking forward to this, Not looking forward to getting beat up that is." She said and ended it with a giggle.

"Same." I said smiling at her.

There aren't much inside here but a boxing ring in the middle, some punch bag and others basic body building stuff. As I continued looking around, Zack walked in. He is holding a piece of paper, it must be the list of today matches.

"Alright guys, Quiet down, I will be your trainer for the rest of the time. I want you to take this very serious. My name is Zack. Today will be our first training day, there will 6 matches. I shall tell you the names." He said.

My match was the last, I'm fighting against this girl, I suppose, named Emma. I don't know who she is but I hope she is a girl smaller than me so I won't get beat up.

"Laurin and Emma up next." Shouted Zack.

I stepped into the ring first not knowing what my opponent looks like. She walked in, She was smaller than me as I hoped. I think it will be an easy match, Well... That was what I thought at that time.

Zack rang a bell and the match start. I tried to figure out what to do but before I can, she rushed towards me in full force and slammed her head into my stomach. It hurts, I looked over to him, he isn't smirking but he doesn't look sad either. He just stands there watching with a straight face, I can't read it.

I pushed her away and gave her a punch to the lip. The corner of her lip bleed, I was happy at the time until I realized that she became mad and gave me a blue eye, I fall to my knee. My vision turn blurry but I didn't faint. I got back up, I'm not gonna make him think I'm weak.

I couldn't lose now, I couldn't lose my first match, I couldn't lose in front of him, in front of Amber, in front of Andrew and in front of everyone else here.

My tension built up, I ran forward and gave her a punch to her nose, Her nose starts bleeding. I didn't stop, I gave her an elbow to her stomach. She falls down to her knee. She then gave up.

I felt happy at first but I couldn't stand her suffering so I helped her up. I gave her a small smile, I tried not to turn it into a smirk. As I was helping her walk up, I walked pass Zack. He gave me a look, I couldn't tell if he is happy that I won't or wasn't that proud since I beat someone smaller than me.

As a stepped out, I realized that I had no idea where her room is. I tried not to look weird but soon after a man asked to take her from me so I handed her over, my be her friend.

On my way back, Amber and Andrew rushed toward me, Amber puts her hand on my shoulder and then turned it into a hug.

"Congratulation on winning her first match, I didn't know you could fight like that." She said as she pulls herself away.

I smiled at her without saying anything.

When we got back to the room, Zack was already there, I don't know how he got there first but whatever I didn't care much, he was probably here for Amber anyway.

"Hey." said Zack.

I didn't care much and tried to walk into the room since he was probably talking to Amber but no. When I was almost in he grabbed my hand and pulled me outside.

His touched sent electric throughout my body. He then quickly releases me.

"I'm sor-" He tried to say.

"Maybe you should think before you act too." I said crossing my hand in front of me.

He looked at me oddly then gave me a smile. I thought he would I punch me or something but he didn't.

"I'm your trainer, you can't say that to me, don't put up too much attitude. I was just here to congratulate you." She said smiling.

"Oh thanks." I said.

As he walked away, I walked into the room. Amber sat on her bed like she was there waiting for me.

"Well? Any juicy details you want to share?" She said.

"Oh come on, he just congratulate me, that's all!" I said blushing.

" If you say so." She said laughing.

I laughed back. That night I couldn't sleep, I was thinking of him. Maybe I do liked him, the way he sent electricity through his touch, the way his torn sounded when he said that. I laughed at myself that try to force myself to sleep.
