Chapter Two : A whisper as loud as a shout

Katniss POV

"Stay away from him my love"

Thats all I remember. Until I wake up in a room that is blue like the sea. I know immediatly thats its Finnick's. I walk to his window and see that the sun is beggining to rise. I see a clock with red dots that form 7:30. My bare feet against the cold wooden floor, walking downstairs to see if Im alone. To my surprise, Im not. Finnik, all alone, on the couch, cuddling himself. Hes like my brother since I was 8. Along with Gale and Peeta. I keep telling him to find a girl but he keeps telling me the same thing. " My dear Katniss, love will always be infront of eyes. I just gotta open them." I walk over to him but I stumble with the table and bend down to see my leg. I let out a loud scream because all I see are bruises. Not just on my legs but on my arms as well. But as I'm sitting there, watching Finnick wake up, I remember why and how I got these bruises.

**Flashback**

"Stay away from him my love"

I turn around to face Gale. He gives me an evil grin. I look behind him to see if anyone passes by. Unfortunaly, no one comes.

"Katniss, you know I get jealous easily," he leans in closer. "And mostly when bread boy tries to steal you away from me." And now his hands are on my hips, with a tight grip. "I love you so much Katnis Everdeen. And you'll always be mine." He leans in even closer and places his lips on mine. I don't kiss him back. I try to keep my lips closed because I don't want this kiss to turn french. He slides his tongue over my lower lip to ask fro entrance in my mouth. I have my eyes open and can see him, with his eyes closed. He knows I'm not letting this kiss turn French, because immediatly he opens his eyes. He sees that my eyes are opened so I get kind of scared. He forces his tongue inside of me and closes his eyes. I can feel his hand slide down my thighs and his tongue going in circles. His hands are going places where I don't want them to go. So I push him with all my might and he stumbles two steps back.

"It would of been easier Everdeen, but, I guess not."

And he starts hitting me . . . . . . . everywhere

**End of Flashback**

"Hey Kitty Kat" Of course Finnick calls me that. He gets up and walks over to me. "Hey" I pull down my pant jammies to hide the bruises. "Lets take you home to get changed. I don't know why Peeta bought you here." "oh" is all I say. And then I keep remembering.

**Flashback**

I was on the floor getting hit when I see someone knock down Gale. And the punches and kicking stop. My face doesn't hurt but the rest does. I see blurry and suddenly Im carried bridal style. I look up and see Peeta. I see over his shoulder and see Gale on the floor. I fall back into Peeta's chest.

**End of Flashback**

Im at my house. Finnick went to get Glimmer, Clove, Marvel, and Cato, then coming back to get me. I shower with warm water to sooth my bruises. When Im done, I dress. An oversized black t-shirt, with a pair of jeans and boots. I grab my Jacket and make toast. I hear a honk so I head out. Oh Katniss, lets see how today goes.

Peeta POV

I wake up recieving a text from Finnick, asking if I want a ride. I responded with a no thanks. I had plans on walking to school today. I had to think of what had happened to Katniss yesterday. . .

**Flashback**

Yeah I was carrying her to Finnick's house. If I went to her house, her little sister would freak out. My torturing mom was at my house so of course it wasn't an option. Finnick was already at school and his key is always under the mat. I opened the door and place Katniss on his couch. I placed ice packs all over her. Except her face. I gently brushed her hair and kissed her forehead. "I love you Katniss Everdeen."

"I love you too" I can see some beautiful grey eyes, open. . .

And its a whisper as loud as a shout. . .
