Hurt, pain I am in vain.
Words have been said I'm dead.
Though not physically,
But my mind, heart and soul,
They're gone, completely gone.
What's left are just ruins!
They took it all away,
Love, brilliance, everything!
Oh! They took advantage.
I felt crushed, really crushed!
I have never learned any.
Yes, they still abuse me,
But I remain silent,
Because I was afraid.
Afraid of being judged.
I know how people see.
They only see themselves.
Very insensitive,
They always think they're right.
Not looking at others.
And if they see others.
They only see mistakes,
Not looking at the good.
They enjoy seeing us,
Being hurt and in vain.
If you are different,
You will be an outcast.
They would not accept you.
They want you to conform.
And to become like them.
If you are colorful.
They will change your color,
And make it black and white,
Like how they wanted it.
Not how it really is.
They want it all even!
What you have, they should have.
If not, they will hurt you.
And what they think they have,
You should never have it.
This is a selfish world,
But don't let them change you.
You're giving them success if you do that.
It is their only goal.
Goal to make you conform.
Just be yourself, you know.
And stand up for yourself.
Do not let them break you.
Don't do the things I did.
I have regretted them.
I know it is too late,
For me to do those things.
Its not too late for you.
Don't listen to them.
Do what you love to do!
