Project 510

"He's a failure dispose of him immediately"

I opened my eyes but everything was blurry.

"Ok sir" a voice replied

I was in a water capsule. But who am I? Where am I? Questions that I didn't know and didn't care at the moment so I fell asleep.

I woke up in a bed, in the table next to me there was a note saying

"Project 510 must be eliminated at 14:00 no sooner no later"

Next to it there was a cube, fancy and ancient... It looked familiar and for some reason I knew there was a hidden button on the bottom.

After finding and pressing the button a strange mysterious sound came up. The cube later on transformed into a cool metal cat. Its face was similar to a screen TV; body had some red led lights stripes. Metal ears which worked as speakers and a tail that had a USB, along its back there was a gap as if it could be opened.

"Hello Master" the cat said

"Master? Me? Talking Cat?" I replied confused

"Yes Master, you programmed me like this don't you remember?"

"I did? I don't know... I don't even know who I am or where I am"

"Mew... Well if that's true I can only tell you small things since it's the first time I ever see the world. What I do know from your programming is that your name is Luc, currently single, 21 years old, you work at a game development for ND, and you were working on a secret project that only you knew about... Making me basically... Project Mao"

"Luc... Yea I think I'm starting remember things... Thanks Mao"

The secret project "project Mao" was a talking robotic companion that was able to become and get data without being detected. A project which I wanted to sell but due to his features I only made one for me. But I was never able to test it... Until now at least.

"Master, Master, Masteeeer. Is something wrong!!!?”

"Ugh no Mao everything is alright I just remembering stuff... So hey Mao do you know how to get out of here?" I asked desperately

"Not really master as I said before it’s my first time coming out of that cube. Gimme a second I need it scan the room"

Several minutes passed. But he was able to find a hidden door under the bed. So I pushed the bed aside and opened the door then I grabbed Mao and jumped down to find our self’s in a pitch black room. In a distance I was able to see a blue screen. It kinda looked like a computer, and if it was a computer that means it could be our way out of here.

“Umm Mao I hate to avoid other people’s privacy but could you get any useful data from that computer? A map at Least or other type of useful information?” I asked Mao

Mao agreed to help me and plugged his USB to the computer. Meanwhile I saw a Shiny light on the floor… I was able to pick it up. It was a Chrystal shard then suddenly…

“Hey Luc. How's that project your working on? Why is it that important? … A surprise? I see ok I will wait”

Crystal…

“Master! We need to get out of here ASAP. Stop snoozing.”

 Mao said in a hurry while showing the letter A.S.A.P on its face so I followed him. While suddenly there someone said trough the speakers

“If anyone finds Project510 please eliminate him.  He is out of his room Repeat, please eliminate him”

My eyes opened wide as a cat’s. I asked Mao what he had found out and he told me that I was kidnapped and became a test subject for becoming an android but I became a failure that’s why they want to eliminate me. I didn’t know what to say so I asked if he knew something about a girl named Crystal. It took him a while but he replied. He said she was something important to me but she got kidnapped as well… one week before me. No wonder he stood quiet… but later on he told me that apparently the same people kidnapped us both so Crystal might be here as well, but he didn’t knew where exactly. I rejected to escape this place and told Mao to help me find Crystal. It took a while to convince him but he agreed later on but where could we find her? Then a good idea came up
