Smiley was born and raised in the heart of Washington state, and from an early age knowing she wanted to be in Seattle living an adventurous life, but her type of adventurous just turned out to be bleaching her hair last year. She grew up in a very confusing household because her father was Caucasian and her mother is an immigrant from Mexico. Until the age of 5, she would only speak Spanish, but her parents thought it would be an easier life if she would try to live the American dream her mother always talked about. So, she dropped her Latina roots and swapped for American ones. Smiley can no longer speak fluent Spanish and even struggles when her mother speaks to her in her thick accent. It makes her upset but she's happy that her parents just want the best for her.
She has spent a year in Seattle by herself in hope that she'll get a pup one day, but better yet a good friend 💛
