Day One.
I woke up in the middle of the night from an odd dream. I don't remember most of it but I know that it was something I have never thought about or would even think about. It's like it wasn't even my dream.
Blaming this on my ADHD and thinking too much, I went to go get some water. As I was getting the cup, I couldn't help but feel as I was being watched. I looked behind me but there was nothing there. I thought "Oh your just owing paranoid!" and with that, I went to bed.
When I laid back down, I could hear scratching. But it wasn't animal-like it was one or two long scratches. I pulled the blankets over my head and squeezed my eyes shut until I fell asleep. But still feeling like someone was there. Just watching me.
Day Two.
So today after work I came home to a baby doll's head in my freezer. But that's oddly not the weird part. The eyes were ripped out and replaced with hyper realistic ones that bulge out and blood dripping out.It looks like it stares into your soul.
I saw it and screamed and slammed the door shut and sat in a corner wondering if what I just saw was real. I slowly got up. I could feel the fear; the dread crawling up my spine giving me a wave of nausea. I opened the freezer and I got the head and took it straight to the dumpster.
A few hours later it was dinner time and I had to eat. I cooked up some rice and brown gravy which is my absolute favorite food ever. The first bite I took was repulsive. I spit it out and stared at my food with amazement just to make sure that I ate what I thought I ate. Everything looked fine. I checked the exportation date and they were fine. "What is going on?" the words repeated through my mind like a broken record.
I went to bed wondering if I should go to mental hospital or not. Then I thought of my past. Shivering with fear I said
"No. No it can't be. It's impossible." The impossibility of my silly thought reassured me enough to go to sleep.
