"Blake, there's something I need to tell you."
"What is it?"
"You have powers" Before he could open his mouth I place my hand on his heart again and let all of my energy flow through. I knew I wouldn't be able to protect the people but at least Blake could defend himself.
You'll see me again one day, Blake.
He had powers but he only had half of them. His mother had them but his father didn't which caused him to be powerless for a long time until now. Until the day I finally sleep.
Blake's pov:
I feel power surging through my body even after she falls to the ground. I shake her as hard as I can. I check her pulse. Nothing. She's not breathing.
Don't die on me, blossom! I never got to tell you I loved you! Wake up!
I pick her up and take her to Mrs. B as fast as I can. How frantic I was must've caught everyone's attention. Everyone followed behind me. Everything seemed to slow down. My ears were ringing and my head was spinning. Was this what she had felt the day she found out her parents were gone?
"Blake, she's dead. Go dig the hole."
"No! She cant die, she's our queen!"
A streak of her hair turns brown as everyone exchanges glances.
"She has changed the prophecy, Blake."
"I DON'T F*CKING CARE! I WANT BLOSSOM TO BE OKAY!" I start to kiss her.
Blossom, please... you are my only family.
I go back to her house and lay her back in her bed. Apollo crawls in bed with her whining. He lays his head on her hand. I lay beside her and cry. What feels like hours... are only minutes.
Our queen was dead. Forever.
