Anna's P.OV:

I felt so bad; but I was just hoping my friends felt what I did.

They deserved to see what they caused... the heartbreak of both me, and Jack.

Early in the morning I took a walk on the beach again. There was something about the way that the waves crashed against the shore that made me relaxed.

I couldn't exactly explain why; but feeling the sand in between my toes felt so amazing and made me forget about everything that had happened just the night before.

I sat down and looked out on the water: thinking.

thinking about the memories, and anything else that could possibly remind me of what I ended last night.

I was in a trance- following the sun shimmer across the somewhat settled water when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

Reminding me of the morning where Jack snuck up on me, I snapped my head around.

What I found wasn't Jack.

As I looked up at Sarah with her blonde hair in a messy bun; I could tell her eyes were asking if she could sit.

"I'm surprised that your precious little boyfriend isn't right by your side. I guess you'll have to talk on your own, for once. The struggle must be real..." I started to say as I tried to stand up; wanting to avoid Sarah as best as I could.

Just as I bent my legs to propel myself up, she grabbed my hand and pulled me back down.

She sat herself down next to me and looked at me.

"Anna, I along with everyone else feel terrible seeing you and Jack like this," she tried saying to me.

"Why apologize when you were the mastermind behind the plan? this was all just a game to you, wasn't it. You don't care about me; whether or not I'm in pain. So don't act like you're my best friend, because best friends don't do this," I replied before kicking sand onto her legs as I stood up.

I walked through the burning sand and back to the beach house; while running my fingers through my hair.

Matt must've seen Sarah try and talk to me from the top balcony. I can conclude this, from seeing him walk out of the sliding glass doors on the bottom floor and running to her aid.

As we crossed paths, Matt looked disgusted, but somewhat sympathetic.

"Oh, Yay! Super Boyfriend Saves the day! AGAIN," I said while he stared.

"I get you're hurting, but can't you see she's trying? It's tough on her too..." Matt said before running the rest of the way.

I didn't bother replying; not wanting to deal with the bullshit that just came from Matt's mouth. Even if I had plenty of evidence to back up my side of the story.

Just before I stepped inside I looked back at Sarah and Matt being held tight in each others arms.

I could only imagine the crap he was telling her; or the complete bullshit that Sarah would be telling him. She seems to be pretty good at making things up.

I turned to start walking upstairs when I heard a scream. I turned myself around and saw Sarah push Matt away from her.

I couldn't tell what was happening, but whatever it was it was serious. All of a sudden, I saw Sarah just as she was thrown to the ground. Clutching her bright red face stinging with sand, she struggled to regain strength and stand back up.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Matt just hit Sarah.
