My name is Hannah. I was born in Stillwater, Pennsylvania, USA. My mother, Perry, and my father, Jack, passed when i was 64. I have 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and possibly a great grandchild. This is my story.

"Hannah.Her name is Hannah."
"Beautiful, Perry."
"Yes. Beautiful."
I open my eyes, and cry, because there is a flashing light.
"Smile baby Hannah!"

Skip ahead a few years, I'm 5 years old, and it's my first day of school.
"Mommy, do I have to?"
"Yes, Hannah. You'll make many friends, and it will be lots of fun!"
"Okay."
I walk into my classroom, and immediately am greeted by:
"Welcome! My name is Ms. Bethel. I will be your teacher this year!"
And, like any 5 year old, I hide behind my mother.
"Don't be shy, Hannah. Ms.Bethel here is a good teacher."
"But mommy, I don't know anybody," I say, pouting.
"Hannah, everyone here is your friend. We are kind to each other and all play together."
"Bye, Hannah! I love you!"
"Love you, too."
Ms.Bethel reaches for my hand, and I take it. The classroom is full of children, and of course, they're all my age. However, there is one kid, he looks slightly older. Ms. Bethel calls out "Circle Time," and everyone says their name, age, and what they hope they'll like about school. Well, kindergarten, anyway. Finally, it's my turn.
"I'm Hannah, I'm 5 years old, and I hope I like writing." Then it's the boy-next-to-me's turn.
"I'm James, I'm 6, and I hope I'll like reading." Those very words sparked my attention. He likes reading, I like writing.
Eventually, circle time is over, and we have free time to play with our "friends." I walk up to James, and say hello.
"Hi, Hannah."
"You wanna go play with the puppy?"
"I-uh- sure." So, off we go to the puppy named "Sugar," and she is so fun! James and I will call her name so she runs back and forth between us. I told him he should come to my house one day, because he likes books and I have a lot of books.
"Yeah!"
"Ok, I will get my mommy's telephone number and bring it to school tomorrow."
"Ok!"
The day ends, and my mom picks me up from school.
"Did you make any friends?"
"Yeah! There's one boy named James, and I told him I would get your telephone number and give it to him to give to his mommy tomorrow."
"Oh! That is something we can do. What did you do in class today?"
"I played with James. We played with the puppy, her name is Sugar."
"That's nice, hun. I'm glad you had a good time."
We got home after about 10 minutes. Our dog, Rufus, licked my face as if saying "OH MY GOD WHERE WERE YOU I HAVE WAITED ALL DAY FOR YOU TO GET HOME YOU HAVE NO IDEA!" And I laughed the whole time due to it tickling me.
"Rufus, haha, sto-ha-hop!" So he gets down, tail still wagging. That's why I love him.
"You want a snack?"
"Yeah!"
"Haha, okay." Mom prepares me a snack (apples and peanut butter, yum), and I eat it.
"Here you go, dear." She hands me a slip of paper, with numbers on it.
"Is this your telephone number?"
"Yes. Go, put it in your backpack to take to Jackson tomorrow."
"It's James, mommy. Silly goose!"
"Yes, sorry. To take to James tomorrow," She says with a chuckle.
We spend the rest of the day watch T.V., and my dad gets home around six. As soon as I hear the garage door open, I jump off the couch and run towards the garage door. The door opens, and my dad walks in.
"Daddy!"
"Princess!" He says as he gives me a hug.
"I missed you, Daddy."
"I missed you, too, Princess. but, hey, I brought you home a gift."
I gasped. "Ooh, what is it, Daddy."
"It's... chinese food!"
"Yay!"
"And I also got you a stuffed unicorn."
"YAY!" I was so happy. It's the one I saw at Hallmark, at the mall.
"Mommy, lookie! It's a unicorn!"
"Look how pretty it is! Isn't it pretty, Jack?"
"Ya know what, Princess? Someday, that unicorn could be yours." And I always hoped it would be.
This unicorn is mine now. I had tea parties with it, and I took it just about everywhere, because it was a gift, from my dad. Oh, how I missed him so. I was a definite daddy's girl. The only place my mom didn't allow me to take it was school.
"Why, mommy? Why can't I take it to school?" I was throwing a temper tantrum. I wanted to take Ms.Glitter (my unicorn's name) to school. I wanted to take her everywhere.
"Because I said so. You can't take Ms.Glitter to school."
"Well, I'm taking her anyway!" I sassed back. Big mistake.
"Excuse me?!?"
"I'm taking her to school!"
"No, you're not. Now, Hannah, if you say one more word, I will take Ms.Glitter away."
"No! You can't!"
"Then don't talk back." And I didn't. I kept my mouth shut until I got to school.
Once again, I was met/ greeted by Ms.Bethel. My mom left, and I walked in.
"Hi, Hannah."
"Hi, James. i have my mommy's telephone number for you. Here." I gabbed the note out of my backpack and gve it to him.
"Thanks." He went to his cubby and put it in his backpack. I noticed his name, beautifully stitched in his backpack. "JAMES DINOZZO." It was so beautifully stitched, I couldn't help but stare. I suppose I dozed off, because...
"Hannah, are you okay?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah, James. Thanks." I fixed my skirt, and sat in my assigned seat, which was, coincidenally, next to James.
"Today, we'll do a bit of reading and writing!" James and I looked at each other, because this was something we're good at. We became best friends, because our interests our similar.
Eventually, I grew to love James.
